Are mods allowed to open your unlocked chests? I unlocked all my chests so my friend could help me move. I then left to eat dinner, after we finished. I came back, and I was missing half a stack of grass and other random good items. None of my friends knew what happened, but told me that mods can open chests, and probably thought I was hacking and removed items from my chests. I don't know if they can, but that is what I heard.



:/ If anyone did this, can I please have it back? Selling items and voting everyday goes rather slowly..

 

Only Dark Red mods (super mods) have permissions to open chests on your island because of island protection.

I would check who you've trusted on your island (do /trust). You can also ask any mod to come look to see who took the items using logs.
