Hello, welcome to FierceWolf91's Skyblock.net moderator application! I would just like to say a quick thank you to everyone who is reading this. Any feedback is welcome, and any support would be greatly appreciated. I am new to forums, but I am active on skyblock.net and I have the Skygod rank. I have been playing Skyblock since early 2014 and I currently have 1 co-op and many trusted friends. Skyblock.net is the first server that I log on to every day when I start up Minecraft. Skyblock.net is an amazing server and I feel like forums and (hopefully) becoming a mod will make me feel more able and connected to the wonderful people playing this server today. Just before I start, I just want to say thank you to CypriotMerkz, TannerLittle, and Noobcrew, the server Administrator, Owner, and Developer. Thank you for taking your time to read this Cypriot, I know you have a very busy schedule. Before you read this, I used Janaaa's mod application as an example/template. Ok, let's get on with the application! Question #1. What is your IGN (In-Game Name)?: My IGN is FierceWolf91. Question #2. Which time zone are you in?: I am in the EST, Eastern time zone of the United States of America. Question #3. What languages do you speak?: I speak English fluently, I am 50% fluent in Hebrew, and I am learning German. Question #4. Have you ever been banned?: No, I have never been banned on any server. Question #5. Why do you think you should be a moderator?: Ever since I have started playing Skyblock, I have seen various cases of greifing, illegal trading, server questions, and of course very annoying advertisers. I feel sort of sorry when I cannot help these people. I don't approve of mods that just go straight to kick/ban without warning. If I became mod I would give warning before resorting to bans. I think people deserve that change. I have been greifed many times, I have lost 5 spawners, diamonds, diamond tools, grass, and more. Even a creeper head has been taken from me, which no mod could refund. I believe that promoting me as a moderator will result in less people banned and more people saying sorry for doing what they have done. If I was a mod, I wouldn't want people to be afraid of me. Thankfully, I think that I am friendly, fair, easy to talk to, easy to listen to, and will make a good moderator. Mods are a VERY helpful source of information and help in Skyblock, and I would love to be a part of the help! I know a lot about this server, and I am active very often. I've played this server for almost a year now. I also think that if I become a mod, I will try to create demonstrations of helpful, effective procedures that help out with islands, e.g. generators, lockette examples, and trade shop examples. Here are some traits that I possess that might be very helpful as a moderator. Maturity I do often joke around with friends, but I am not afraid to immediately jump into a moderating phase as soon as it crosses the line, even with close friends. Activity I am pretty active on Skyblock and the Skyblock.net forums. I feel like being active increases the amount of liking for the Skyblock experience. The forums are a good way to connect to your friends who are online on Skyblock.net. Respect I do not discriminate or believe in segregation of separate races, religions, colors, and I have no hatred for gays or lesbians. In fact, I support them. I will not treat people differently based on rank or any other quality. I will treat everyone with the utmost respect that they deserve. Trustworthiness I am extremely trustworthy. I do not break promises. I live up to agreements. This is a good trait for mods to have, if Cypriot found out that one of his mods was greifing, etc., he would be very upset. Patience I am very patient. I will wait for people to explain their problems and will try my best to figure out the best solution, benefiting both the server and the player. This is a good trait for a mod to have, as it shows respect. I am very dedicated to helping out others both in real life and on Skyblock. I love helping people, and I feel like this would be a good position for me to have here. Question #6. How often can you be online?: I am pretty much always on on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. During the week I cannot play as often... I have school. Question #7. Do you have any past experience as a moderator?: No I do not, but I have learned some commands like /logs and of course, /tpa from certain helpful mods. Summary: Thank you to everyone who read this! It's not her mod app, so it really doesn't matter if you see her or not. I can see a mod in-game, but a mod I might not necessarily see me in-game. I'll remain neutral. You're new, so get use to the forums first. I can't speak for in-game, since we're in different time-zones. Help out more on the forums. Bold and italicize the important information. Quality > Quantity. Although most accepted applications are long, it's more about the information/detail (application wise).
If you guys think the formatting is wrong or messed up here, look at Janaaa's app, I used hers as an example. I thought that Janaaa's was very good and that I should try to make mine look like it.
Loved it I think u should become the best mod there has ever been in the world. I am sure you have worked so hard and now it is your time to become a mod. I agree with Becky, I think that you really are an especially caring person, as Becky mentioned. Hopefully you become mod.
