Welcome to my Mod Application!

Im minecraftboss762 in game. I have been playing this server for about 3 years now and I have decided to take it a step further and try to become a Mod as I love the server!



I think that I should be a Moderator on skyblock.net because I love helping people and enjoy watching people learn new things. I love being a Aussie because we are all helping and I love to help people. My name is minecraftboss762 and I have been playing this server for about 3 years and I love every second of it.
I am online on the forums when needed and I try to resolve problems here and there and when I am needed in game or on the forums, I will be there and if I don't get mod I will keep updating my Application hoping that finally one day I will get there, and I will have achieved my goal for 2016!





ABOUT ME:

I live in Australia (Sydney) and I Speak English not American and I know some Afrikaans because my parents are South African and some of my friends are South African, and they speak Afrikaans too. and I love playing cricket if its back yard or on the field I love it.

My INGAME name:

my name used to be 555Jamie555 but somehow my account got deleted so now I bought another account which people know me now as the one, the only, minecraftboss762


Confidence:

I'm very confident and a good public speaker and I would not back away from a problem if it goes on for hours, I will keep at it until it gets resolved and everyone is happy and no-one is left out or feeling upset or feels like the world is against them I will try and try to keep the conversation going until its all good, as i'm very persistent.

Fast typer:
I am a pretty fast typer when it comes to chat and messaging I can quickly absorb information and remember a players name without having to scroll back up in the chat bar. I can type up to sixty five words per minute (wpm).


Trustworthy:
I am a extremely trustworthy person and I can be trusted at all times to not Grief, Steal, Scam and hack (even though SOME hacks are legal...) . People should not back away from me as in every situation I will be able to be trusted, even if its someone that has scammed me out of a diamond.


Have I been banned:

Once, temp banned for 1 day by a Moderator for doing the /testcommand once. and apparently "promoting it" Also sometimes from console when I have lag when my computer is low on battery but most of the time its a great computer. and once kicked for fake messaging but I was a bit stupid then.



Why I think I should be a Moderator:

Well for a few reasons...



1. I LOVE helping people and watching them learn and I treat all non-donors as the same I would do for donors and skygods and donor400's. I do not think it is fair to treat non donors and donors differently as one chooses to donate to the server, and I don't think being a donor or a skygod or donor400 will help anyone getting Moderator in the slightest.


2. I am Respectful to everyone and I would help anyone in need at any time I am online on the forums or in game at my island, in chat, at their island, at spawn, anywhere anytime i'm online. I can help as much as possible and I'll try my hardest to be the first one to answer a question or need in chat or by msg.


3. I am very friendly, I make friends easily and am quite nice to others and ask them if their not being nice to calm down and relax because they are getting worked up about nothing, and if they need help with building a stone generator I might help them if they need some help or show them how to make things themselves. Or have an explanation on my island and I will suggest some helpful sites about Minecraft tools and crafting recipes.


4. I will be as active as possible as I can be online on the forums and in game up to 3 hours a day and I will try not be AFK in game for too long when needed. some days I might be on for a bit less because of activity's but mostly 1 hour and on weekends 1 and a half hours and on school break 2 hours a day (which is on right now for another 4 weeks). and maybe less maybe more but overall about 1 hour a day.
(times may change in the future when time goes by.)




5. I am very Mature and I try my hardest to keep chat G rated at ALL times, I will warn someone if they say something inappropriate in chat or ask something not nice and if they do it repeatedly I would temp ban them. Or ask another mod or a supermod or if CypriotMerks or Noobcrew or TannerLittle are online I will report the player to them.


6. I am positive in trying to keep things under control and when something annoying is happening I will try to keep as positive as possible. When I am stuck in a situation and I need to get out of it but i'm stuck in a corner I will always find a way out of it no matter what the case or problem is.


Past Experience:

I have experience being a moderator on other servers as my friends ask me to and I help new players show them the way and help them learn and have fun in all different ways, show them a few tricks in the server and help them if they are struggling. If people are new and have no idea how to play and use commands I have showed them how to use all the commands of the servers I am moderator on and I think some people get very experienced in servers from me...



Time Zone:
I live in Australia (Sydney) so I think thats UTC +10 but I don't know sorry if this is wrong someone could correct me later so I could be online 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon (my time, UTC +10) and sometimes in the middle of the day for a bit and also sometimes in the evenings (once again my time).


What I will try to improve on In game and on the forums:


I will improve on helping people and being considerate and being online more and staying there even if no one needs help and in the forums being more active, and resolving issues with scams and banning and other things I will be much more active on the forums from when I post this. and I will every 30 minutes (when I have free time not at night) check my inbox on the forums to see if there is anyone who needs help or ban appeals.

Generous: I can try doing drop party's with my kits and giving players items and tools but they also need to work they're way up like other people do.


Skills:

I know most of the skyblock commands as I have my own private server for myself were I test out plugins and change some around. (not When I KILL the servers.)
such as;

/tp [playername] [playername]
teleport players

/tp [playername]
teleport me to another player

/op [playername]
make a player have powerful commands (not that I would do that on ANYONE under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES)

/pet [pettype]
create a pet (this will not be very useful)

/kick [playername] [reason]
return a player to the multiplayer title screen as they are being pointless and if they spam warn them by kicking them

/tempban [playername] [time]
temp ban a player for an amount of time for doing something rude or stupid and irresponsible.
( I think I need 4 other TrialMods agreement to do this please correct me if i'm wrong)

/ban [playername] [reason]
ban a player for life for doing something completely irresponsible and stupid and scamming someone
(I cannot do this as I will be a Trial Mod but when I get Mod or maybe one day supermod I can do it on-the-spot)

/mute [playername] [time]
mute a player so they cannot use chat and msg others for a certain amount of time





Overall:

I would absolutely love to be a moderator on this server so I can help as many people as I possibly can as it is my favourite server ever and I have been playing it for nearly 3 years, I will try my hardest in the future if I get moderator and if I don't I will keep trying as long as it takes, I really would like to help more people on this server as on any other please take my application into consideration and I would keep updating this for more information as long as it takes to become a mod. And I completely understand that being a Mod does not benifit me in anyway it lets me help others like becoming a servant and being ordered to help others not to become more powerful than other people and control them but letting them learn safely from me, and let them get help from me not bossing them around and being more important than them if anything they are more important then me and i'm just helping out. I will be as active as possible and use ninety nine percent of my free time to help others on the forums and in game, and I am looking forward to being able to help other people more often.

Mine, this is a well written app. It really sounds like you are trying out for a position at a corporate office or something. You do seem to know what you are talking about. One of the few negatives that I see in your app is all the colors. I know that having color does not determine whether or not you will make mod, but in my opinion using that much color kinda makes your app look like a coloring book.

I do want to support you, but I also want to see ya around some more. .. I know that it is time zone thing since you are in Australia and I am in the Southern part of the United States, which means I am CST. I do hope to see you around on the forums a little bit more. I also want to wish you luck on the app. Remember to keep working on it and really tone it down with all the color.

Not really just be more active in the forums. I would just read over it and only use the most important facts instead of the minor stuff. . but other than that you did great.

There's some sort of odd broken attachments at the top of your post, sir. But I'm liking the enthusiasm so far!

Several things:

• That is a lot of italics, sir. Strained my neck reading the paragraph sideways.
• I'm a little unfamiliar with the server: Do Mods watch me learning new things? I am extremely creeped out now.
• I visited Australia on deployment and got to meet some wildlife. Everything in your country lives on pure murderjuice, you must be amazingly tough to survive there.

Calm it down a bit, sir. I read this entire sentence (paragraph?) in a high pitched Jack Russell terrier voice. Deep breaths, some punctuation and a couple of vocal pauses; you'll be good.

Do you speak English, or American? I recently learned there's a difference, now I ask everyone.

After reading that sentence I would agree with anything you were talking about. Wait, delayed reaction: The world hates me?!

This is actually a very good skill to have. The chat scrolls off the screen so fast you'd think it was late for a dinner reservation with Mila Kunis. Being able to speed-memorize who you're talking with may actually be helpful.

I might have to review the server rules, I distinctly remember a lot of hacking activities were legal and accepted sir. As for griefing, stealing and getting your diamond back I believe Guy Ritchie made an entire film about how to handle that particular situation.

If I am reading this correctly then you'll be available for one hour a day during the week and 90 minutes/day on the weekends. Except during holidays, you'll be able to play a full 2 hours per day then. Cool beans.

That was an incredible outpouring of enthusiasm, Minecraftboss. I can tell you typed that entire thing in one single, massive explosion of Adderall fueled creativity. I sincerely admire that level of energy.

I'm going to be honest here: I'm sensing you may have had a bit too much Mountain Dew tonight and your enthusiasm kind of took control. This could be a good application, just for the love of little fishes slow down and put some punctuation in this puppy. I'll come back to check for edits tomorrow, I need some time to recover after that sprint.

I'll look into changing the support status. It's entirely imaginary and changes absolutely nothing, none of us have any sort of authority on applications.
