That moment when you believe someone rage quit because of an auction :I So this guy was doing an auction for an emerald, and since there was no starting bid I decided to try to joke with him by messaging him, "1 grass xD". He responded with "I don't take 1-5 for rare items" so I replied, "ok, 6 grass xD" and then he put me in the auction for 5 grass, I then said, "aww, a discount :3 xD" and he replied saying that he could end the auction if he wanted and I said I know so he replied and said that he had been doing this for 15 minutes and would stop. I tried to message him saying that I was just joking around but when I did so it said he wasn't online. I think he might have rage quit, oops hope that wasn't my fault. :confused:
Some people can be really sensitive or do not understand jokes. I usually don't joke around with people I dont know well to avoid them getting frustrated
I usually don't joke with people either, but when I feel comfortable around them, it's never gonna stop.
Just to make sure I got this correct: He was trying to openly sell something valuable(?), in what is basically a screaming monkey poo-flinging chat madhouse... with no minimum bid? For a solid fifteen minutes straight? You either need the patience of a god or the humor of Loki to take that kind of abuse. What was his/her name? I'd like to congratulate them on lasting the 15 minutes.
Still feel pretty bad about it, I just hope he left just because he went to go do something else and not actually because of me.
I would if I could remember his name (something along the lines of senpai xD), I honestly don't know if he left because of me though, so I think I'll just leave it alone and hope he forgets about it. I wanted to keep him company, guess that didn't work :/
