I really like your application luv and you have my full support. I thought it was well written and you seem to know what you are talking about. I really hope the best for you and good luck on becoming a MOD.

 

Per your in-game request I sat down and read through your application ma'am. I'll ask my wife to do the same. Ms. Kerahna put you on a very short list of people she would trust, so I'm willing to take some time.

Up front disclaimers:
- I am new to the server and community.
- I was contacted in-game by the applicant to review this in a positive light.
- I'm not sure why or how my opinion will matter.
- I'm a fourteen year non-commissioned officer in the US military. You were warned, at least this isn't full of swear words.

Pros:

1. Articulated well, grammar and spelling check out fine. The intent is clearly communicated.
2. You can follow a style and format guide. This isn't a "Strunk & White" situation but some of the other applications are hot garbage with color codes.
3. Enthusiastic.
4. Insightful to a surprising degree.
5. Written in an incredibly mature manner.
6. Kind-hearted.
7. Generous.
8. Kerahna deeply approves of you.
9. You're a $250+ donor.

Cons:

1. You are fourteen. Phrases like "I grew up learning this" and "In my experience" tend to sound awkward from someone that lost their baby teeth two years ago.
2. This sounds like infatuation. You love the good, you love the bad, you love everything and everyone all the time.
3. An adult somewhere paid $250+ for you. I am not sure you're aware of the effort that goes into things if a quarter grand in cash is casually tossed on your hobby. 4. As of right now you only have a single supporter old enough to have graduated high school.

Exposition:
I deeply respect Kerahna and she went on a limb to vouch for you. Other than a single, brief "Hello, nice to meet you" we have had next to no interaction at all. There may be entire chapters of your life I'm unaware of that could influence or completely flip my perception of how you present yourself here. Fair enough.

I read this four times; once for tone and conveyance, again for spelling and grammar, a third time for notes and lastly for reference while writing this post. This entire application reads as if someone with a pre-college English major co-wrote it; if this is entirely your work then you have my respect (I mentioned this to my wife as well).

You cannot love all people and all things 100% of the time. That requires heavy medication or a psychological condition. Neither can you be the personal caregiver to thousands of players' issues every day. The example you gave about using your personal items to 'reimburse' scammed players actually concerns me deeply--This seems wonderful, but it also sounds like you've been given so much for free that tossing it out to random people means nothing to you. No effort spent gaining things, so no worries giving it out?
