Ok so, the noobcrew should make a feature that is /delete island and you can delete it without making a new one. I hink everyone will like it
What's the point then? The /newisland replace command replaces your island along with deleting it. If you just have the /delete island command, how would you get a new island? No support.
This actually makes sense to me. If you're going to begin a coop it'd be easier to just delete the island and join a new one than to have an abandoned one floating out in dead space for people to potentially bridge out to and farm. There used to be a lot of problems with people getting banned months after farming old abandoned islands that mods would find when they just happened to be flying by. This could be an interesting feature imo.
There is a point to having '/newisland delete'. With /newisland replace, you retain the same space coordinates or location, that is, your island information is deleted and a new island is recreated in its placed. If you have '/newisland delete', then you have new coordinates or a different location. You may also have a new 'biome', which in itself can have advantages by having new features that you can exploit. For example you currently reside in an 'Ocean biome' and by doing 'newisland delete' then /newisland you end up in an 'Ice biome', hence you can now make ice, which before you could not. If you use this command, you could in a sense have a much bigger island, (see 'island is too small thread') by using an alt to get an island next to the one you are currently building. The ultimate use of this command is that you can use it to get away from those noisy neighbours. Regards Nebulagirl PS. I support this idea.
