Tricky. ISIS put a bad name to it, but I wouldn't say it in a bad context regarding to terrorism or something.

 

Allahu Akbar defines to "God is greater". It isn't ISIS nor is it related to terrorism. It is related to the Muslim religion. This saying isn't going to get you muted, and if any mods mute you for it, they might need to recheck the definition of it. Now unless you're spamming it, or saying "Allahu Akbar sucks" and/or offending people, then that is a whole other situation.

If used in a racist way, obviously not allowed. If actually meant with meaning, then I don't see why not?

But of course, there's going to be those players who take such a meaningful statement into something rude and offensive. As long as it avoids such conversations, I'd say it should be find to use.

 

That's not the point, the point is it's not related to terrorism, and it shouldn't offended anyone, I mean unless they're not Muslim or what not, but the fact is you shouldn't be muted or punished for saying that, if you are then you should speak with that mod or another mod about it.

 

Well, the term itself is not offensive. It's just how society put such a negative connotation on it. It's a way Muslims show respect to their God. If someone where to be punished for that (Of course depending on the context), then I'd assume that the meaning is unknown by one.

I've got one question tho, why would you feel the need or want to say this to begin with on a skyblock server? For one, it'll probably end up causing many disputes, and I dont see the need to say it at all on skyblock, theres probably a more appropiate time and place for this, any most other religious sayings, but this one in particular

 

Well I'm Arab, and it's Arabic words that translate to 'God Is Great' and is used in the Islamic Religion as already mentioned. You are allowed to say it, but if it is in a bad way, then its punishable.
