So I tried doing this, but I guess this is illegal? Let me explain a bit further before someone bans me for something I didn't do

So I tried to sell my Red Sand as part of my trade shop and, figuring it was legal, typed it into the format for all the other trade chests. Though when I did it, this error popped up. I thought it might have been a bug since red sand is legal and tried "Red_Sand" to no avail. Apparently the plugin/system recognizes it as sand rather than its red counterpart.

So I need to understand whats going on. If its legal at /warp donor, then why is it illegal here. And also why is it saying to go to /warp illegal when that thing is SO out of date? ._.

 

Red and is legal to trade, although since its sand it says its 'illegal', but red and is legal to trade.
You cannot drop it though but you cant island farm to get red sand so therefore it is legal.

 

That was the most confusing yet the most understanding. That's what I figured about it. Is there no way to put it in a Trade Shop then?

 

I don't believe so. But yet I'm sitting here still confused, regardless of how many times someone explains to me, on how to make a chest shop <w>

Never thought of that actually...I think trade shops were down this morning but I'll try when I can

 

The item ID for sand and reds and is the same. That is how the transfer sand to redsand glitch works.. Now, the thing is you would have to use the redsand as the name for it to work. The problem is, tanner was probably drunk who knows xD and he thought red sand was illegal to trade when he blocked that out. But, for future reference, if redsand was added to chestshops you could put normal sand in there and it would give that instead of redsand as the ID is the same. Uhh when a mod sees this put this part in blocked text: you can put granite as the name, then you can put stone in there and it will drape cd stone for whatever.

 

Red Sand is LEGAL to trade, it's a bug at the moment that hopefully will be fixed with future versions of the trade plugin
