So respecting your opinion is more important than respecting someone else's life? That's a bit f***ed up, but alright. When you actually start to care, it will be too late. I do hope that you and/or your family will never have to be in that situation.

THIS. THIS IS THE THING! People believe what their parents told them. You, or they, blindly follow what they say and (most of the time) don't think about what is being said. THINK. Put yourself in a situation where you have non-religious parents. You would have very likely NOT been pure christian for example. Of course you might, but the chance you would not be is 90%, and 99% if you have other religious parents.

I don't understand some people. They live by the exact rules of their "lord". Those could've been helpful (most of them, again) in the 1800 and less, but think about nowerdays.

Damn Fight4Glory, your post deserves 50 agrees !

suprisingly many christians think that way. Some people in this thread for example said:

    God is real. (for example)

    NOT

I believe god is real. (for example)

Most of christians do not think that way, but surprisingly many sadly do. :(

That post has big sense issues in it, and your points are seriously (sorry to be rude) so stupid I'm really too lazy to comment that. Wow. Really, sorry for being rude, but there's s*** in there that's messed up or not even true.

Yes, I'm fine with that being your beliefs, but stating that your reasons are mostly bullshit.

As most say, all of this is opinion. Some have grown up and believe in what they have learned, that is why we have so many religions. If you were raised Christian, your going to most likely follow that. If your raised another way, your most likely going to follow that. All religion can be right in a way, and nobody knows for sure.

Name one person who can for sure say that one religion is true. I am sure it isn't true.

Though, we all believe what we want, and what we hear. Human nature is something that we won't be able to change, and most likely won't notice what we do by the time we do it.

I personally am going with science to think of the fact that there is space above us that is always growing, and there are so many other galaxies, planets, and other things out there we will never get to really understand. I don't think that religion is wrong, but I don't know what is true, so I'm agnostic. Maybe we came from a god, maybe from other beings, maybe not. Evolution isn't exactly true, but there is something I have read on that makes sense. Genetic mutation from other things is a good theory of us, but you never know till we expire. Who knows who is right, maybe you reading this, maybe none of us.

The end is what will show, and what we will know in the end is what we get, like it or not.

My theory is that we were genetic mutations, and we have been watched over from a "God like figure"

What if all the religion we have was put to keep us believing in something. I take the fact of there are stories, written things from ancient times, and a lot of things we can't explain about alien like beings. Nobody knows what is out there, so it's all just theoretical unless proven, which all we have are sightings that we can't explain. Nobody can be for sure, but you never know.

If you yourself don't know what I am talking about look up some things about extraterrestrials, and how there are things like hieroglyphics about rocket like things, and how there are other ancient drawings and texts about strange beings that helped. It's all hard to explain, and we can believe what we think to be true, and it will all in theory be correct in a way.

    I share the exact views.

Nobody can prove there's a God, nor can nobody disprove. It's all in ones speculations and believe.

Uhh Krissy_ this was and language...

Also, I never found anything BS In there. It was basically a passage from the bible. I personally believe the bible is just metaphorical for what happened. Such as God made the world in 7 days. Well his 7 days could be different, as there wasn't the same type of day meaning there wasn't even an earth when he started counting xD. So she believes it to be exact, and you can disagree, however this is not a place where people can just be rude and use vulgar language.

I'm not taking credit for this message, but it's something that you should really (at least) consider if you don't believe that someone/something created this universe. I'm using a scientific standpoint, because that's what people see as more reliable.

"Scientists estimate that there are over 300 billion galaxies in the whole universe. These galaxies have a number of different forms (spiral, elliptical, etc) and each contains about as many stars as the universe contains galaxies. One of these stars, the Sun, has nine major planets rotating around it in great harmony. All of us live on the third of those planets counting from the Sun. Think about this: Does what you see appear to be a disordered jumble of matter, haphazardly scattered this way and that? Of course not. How could matter have formed organized galaxies if it had been dispersed randomly? Why has matter accumulated at certain points and formed stars? How could the delicate balance of our solar system have emerged from a violent explosion?"
