so does Islam, Islam is sexist and encourages homophobia, as well as being the top religion for having the most terrorist groups
I don't follow any religion, I used to go to a catholic primary school but I was neglected because of my sexual preference so this is what changed my mindset to not follow any -Although, I do believe in God, all gods. Heaven, Hell and any other similar things in any similar religion beliefs. Because after all someone will have to take me when I die <w>
I am a Christian so yes I do believe in Heaven and Hell. There is a God though some people just don't believe it it's all opinions I personally believe that God created the universe and who knows he could have used the Big Bang no one can disprove or prove it. I believe the Bible and everything in it though you can argue all you want my belief will not change In my opinion evolution is fake. Charles Darwin made it up on a cruise. Facts that can prove the Bible is true exist: *Why do apes not evolve now? *Evidence that has been proven to be fake *Millions of years ago is fake because the oldest thing on this planet is the Grand Canyon and it is only about 6k years old *The Grand Canyon couldn't be caused by anything else other than a natural disaster: The ark, now complete, having been constructed over many years according to the divine design, is entered at God’s command (7:1) by both man and animals. Before the flood began, God shut the door. I would imagine that had God not done so, Noah would have opened it to those who later wanted in, but the day of salvation must come to an end. The source of water seems supernatural. It may well be that it had never rained before (cf. 2:6). Now the rain came in torrents. In addition the ‘fountains of the deep’ (7:11) were opened. Water, both from above and below, came forth for forty days (7:12). The waters prevailed on the earth for a total of 150 days (7:24), and then subsided over a period of months. Five months after the flood commenced the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat (8:4; cf. 7:11). It took considerable time for the waters to recede and for the ground to be dry enough to walk on. It was a little more than a year that Noah and his family spent on the ark. At the command of the Lord they gladly (I am certain) disembarked. Gen 7:6-8:19 *Why are there skeletons on top of mountains? The only thing that could of caused that was something like a flood. *They have found evidence like the Dead Sea scrolls, Jericho, etc. That is my opinion on this subject.
Search up 'God's not dead argument scenes'. Even if it is a movie, it provides multiple logical arguments to prove the existence of God.
Okay, I understand where you're coming from, but what do you mean by pathetic, and then saying the bible has truth Anyway, there are hundreds of different versions of the Bible translated, and some are more accurate than others. The Bible couldn't have been edited by kings or rulers because then it wouldn't be true. I'm pretty sure historians wouldn't put a false book made over thousands of years and say, "Get your false book edited by rulers for $.99!" No, they'd carefully analyze everything and make sure all is accurate. In the English language, the ASV and the KJV translations of the Bible are most accurate, but most of the other translations hold truth just as much as the original Hebrew Bible.
Everyone has their own religion views and I respect that but if your going to say "God isn't real" offends me for some people do believe, such as me so we should respect others perspective. example "I believe God isn't real" would be a better way to put it. ~Full Christian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why is this thread even here? All it created was a huge argument. Some people believe in hell and heaven, some don't. Whats the point in the end?
That's pretty stereotypical don't you think? haha I mean, that's like saying all non-believers in Christianity or something hate religious people. I can guarantee you that's not the case... That's a pretty ignorant statement.
If we could all stop just trying to make others see our way and just respect others beliefs, we could get along a lot better. In my opinion a lot of people are "Rebels without a cause" or are still believing what their parents thought was correct. This means majority of us still have a lot to learn about religion and things. I personally don't care what you believe in or don't believe in as long as that doesn't include killing me, my friends, or my family.
So killing is alright as long as it doesn't involve anyone close to you? What about rape, torture, persecution, racism, theft, and other negative human qualities?
The point is, at this point in time, this stuff is going to go on whether or not religion is involved. I am also to the point where, yes, I care most about my close friends and family. If those people or myself start to be effected, then I'll care. Hope you are able to respect my beliefs and way at looking at life even though they are different than yours.
