Dear Skyblock, I'm tired of all the spam in the chats for selling stuff. For you some examples: L()()K>>>>GOLDEN APPLES IM SEARCHING FOR WOOD etc. etc. etc. etc. So is it a idea to add an auction plugin, so players can say how many they give automatic. If there is an auction plugin, there is less lagg because the spam in the chat!
The auction plugin on .org, when people do auctions, takes up like what, six chat lines? And with the amount of people on .net, even more spam would be made than there is now. LOL.
I don't think this is a great idea. If you like auctions, go to /economy. You do realize the amount of players that join .net everyday causes already too much spam? Imagine with the auction plugin--players would just purposely bid filling up the entire chat and be utterly immature/obnoxious about it.
When you add a plugin with nospam it will be better. If you set every 20/30 seconds an auction it will be great!
There are a couple of problems I can see. First the spam of people bidding... unless you can turn it off, it would be problematic and annoying. Next is defining values of items and what people bid with. It would be easy if we had money but we dont. Are all auctions going to be set to bid only in grass? what happens if people want to bid in equivalents or multiple currency? If anything the plugin would been to account for nets player made economy and honestly I dont think it would work all that well. We have trade shops, and people can now advertise their shops instead. I dont think extra work to make an auction plugin is necessary
