My apologies that you feel that way. Could I ask why? I would prefer to change my qualities to fit a better applicator than just have no support.

Is there even reasoning? I don't seem to be able to grasp what you're putting on the table. But that is your opinion, and I simply want to be able to better myself to earn the support.

 

Wow I haven't replied to a application in awhile...

As my input doesn't matter in the decision making portion, I feel very impressed with the fact you ask people for actual feedback- regardless of how you state you are a stubborn person. I like how you also say you are open for change, (well just open minded in general), but are still open to suggestions on how you should take in the information. After reading this for a solid half-hour, I've come up with a few comments, but none that are completely degrading of this moderator application (I hope).

1 - I recognized that you think of yourself as a bit hard-headed and you seem to embrace it. I like that about you, and I like your natural confidence. Take your personality as something to make you stand out from others, as well as having a common, familiar face to the server. In other words, thank you for bringing back a little spunk to the server.

2 - Also, I notice how much you set aside out of your time online to help and reply to less experienced players. I've noticed it become a little more noticeable since you've applied, but without a doubt very creditable. Players who show how well they work with other people probably have a higher chance of the position because this game/server must be at least 1/2 socializing, right?

3 - You stated that you are 14 years old, which I am very surprised that you are only that young. At most times online you seem that age, or even more-mature than the average fourteen-year-old would typically behave. (Trust me, there are very many 16 year olds that don't seem as mature as you). Then again, sometimes you can be a little silly, but I think that's all in good fun. Having fun with friends and meeting disparate people here is all part of the experience I believe.

I will admit, the first time I met you I was not impressed. I'm not saying you made a horrible impression, but you did come off as a bit supercilious. But I realize now that is just your personality, and I can't do anything but respect that. Over time I gained respect for you, and I envy how well you get along with people. Not everyone may like you all the time, but I like how you can push it to the side. You are very strong-minded and as you may view that as a weakness sometimes because of clashing with other's opinions, it is not. Perhaps a little restraint of your common frustrations may do you well as I see others have commented on, and as well as any childish slang. I don't want to completely knock down your self confidence because coming from personal experience, I know it can be rough hearing things you don't necessarily want to hear, but sadly criticism is something that comes with this 'job' or position, and I noticed how you don't always take that very well.

I also scanned through the comments others made about your application and noticed how they also poked a little at the fact you are changing (for the better), but I'm not saying to change everything about yourself. As a matter of fact don't do that at all. Maybe what I'm trying to say is just restrain yourself from saying things you would want to - especially being in a position where you are being looked up at. People out there do look up to you, so please don't lose their deference.

All in all, I give my support as long as you keep staying on this path you're taking towards being a kind, wholesome person, (not that you aren't already), and staying true to your unique persona. I think you will make a brilliant mod if you keep up the behavior you've had lately. Your attitude has definitely improved and is appreciated. I really like how through you were with this application. Good luck.

p.s. I'm sorry I turned this into an essay, I honestly didn't mean to. I just write and it spirals up into something like this.

 

Well, for starters I want to thank you for very much for the compliments. And don't worry about the length, you saw my application haha. I'm a bit silly but I think that makes things a little more fun. I got an attitude and trying to bring in some humor softens the blow a bit. I really appreciate the support too. I'm trying hard to change the things I don't like about myself, like how I can be harsh and sarcastic without meaning to be. But I really loved all that you had to say and this is certainly one of my favorite replies. I'll take everything you say into account. And as I told you, I do kind of look up to you. You're very sweet and kind and it seems everyone brightens up a bit around you and I want that to be a quality I have.

 

The one thing I'd be concerned about if you were to be promoted would be your attitude towards players of a lower maturity or intelligence level that lack the ability to understand somewhat basic instructions. (I've dealt with plenty, and I lose my patience too easily. I consider this a valid reason for myself to never apply, but that's just me. I don't know how you'll behave.)

However, I agree with everyone's comments about your maturity, confidence, etc. I respect these qualities so much. I have faith that you'd be a fantastic mod. Full support.

You create a thread in the application section, following the format in the pinned thread and using accepted applications as a gauge for what yours should look like. However, I'd wait a bit before applying since you just recently joined, and it's rare for newer members to get good feedback or a full support. It's often just "Get to know the forums a bit better."

Also, for future reference, this type of thing doesn't belong on another player's mod application. If you have any questions, write a message on the profile of a staff member. Or mine, of course. I've been here a while, and I'll attempt to provide assistance to the best of my ability if necessary. ^-^

 

That's one thing I'm working on is my patience level. I do have a lot of patience but I can lose it when I explain something easy and they refuse to understand. But I appreciate your support, Geek.

No, actually most of my friends talk to me about what I need to approve. Though I'm only human and I have my flaws, I'm trying haha
