    Since you cannot grief anymore thanks to world guard It would be nice if stone monster eggs were back to the market.

    It would be reasonable to make trading legal since the main reason for them being illegal was due to griefing. Do you know if they were ever obtainable from villagers or only brought into the game with creative? If they are also illegal in that way (like sponge, bedrock) then that might be another barrier to it becoming legal for trade.

    I just tried placing one on my island and it didn't spawn anything. I broke it and it turned into stone :( now i'm sad. Still not sure if they work and i'm not going to test on another one!

    I remember when these were for sale. I bought loads then they just disappeared around December 2012. I always wondered what happened to them!
