Obsidian is a popular block to use as decor, and to build mock nether portals. But, even people not trusted can right click your obby and turn it to lava. Also with the nether portals they're hard to put together. Possible make a command for changing obsidian instead of right click. Maybe even add a toggle for your island. When you first start the toggles on so its not hard. The toggle could also be a donor thing. Possibly even expanding this thread, make a whole new thing called island settings or island overview. All feedback and branching appreciated To reinstate, this command will only be available at your own island. Currently you can right click on any obsidian even if your not trusted. Also, it'll be like spawners. You look at it then do the command. -Chrix32
I support the idea of adding a command to turn obsidian into lava. But this should be only avaible at your own island /coop island.
Support, the toggle/command sounds useful. However, the toggle should start off (right click turns the obsidian into lava: ON) so new people don't get upset about their lava turning into obsidian =) It shouldn't be a huge problem either way thought.
Thanks! I think using a command only, and the right click toggle are both a feasible way to prevent island briefing from right clicking obby -Chrix32
I support this idea a lot. I even need it to stop accidentally breaking houses. (Accidentally touched obsidian instead of trade shop)
Good idea. Perhaps a good medium ground would be to prevent non-cooped members from rightclicking the obsidian. To make a nether portal you just need to ensure that 1 block of obsidian (the one you're gonna click on with the flint & steel) is in contact with water.
Support. I wanted to add obsidian towers to my end, but then again I don't want the end to become the nether
