I, for the longest time, was told that an island was suppose to only be up to 49 blocks out in all directions, or 99x99. My island, in multiple locations, is right at 49 blocks out, a total of 99x99, feel free to measure it yourself @ /visit Overdramatic. On the north and west side, though, I can't edit the outer walls. This is because the world protect activated after these walls were built. Mods are saying nothing can be done, but I highly doubt that. If it's a matter of the items belonging to adjacent islands, now, it's not a problem. The adjacent islands are abandoned. I just want my 99x99, thanks. c:

 

krissy_ Might be able to help. Really, the only way would have a supermod cut it off and give back the items, but its kinda odd that something would do this. If your island was pre-world guard that might have something to do with it though.

Honestly, I can refund if its just like cobble and wood or something, the only problem that would take a while is if there was a chest out there, which you should mention if there is.

Either than that, sounds like a simple fix that just takes some time planning. Good luck ^-^

I don't wanna lose island size. Everything is symmetrical and perfect, having them not the same length on two sides compared to the others. This doesn't seem accurate, and it seems that if they expanded my island, the added sections wouldn't come from the island next to me. it's unused space space in between us that if they DID own it, then there side length is 51, which would mean, why don't I have 51? So I don't care if Cyp has to fix it, I want my 99x99. I've had this island for too long to change it.

If this was before island protection, it's your fault for building outside of the limit. I did this as well, and had to remove everything outside the 99x99 island limit before island protection came. Smods could destroy it, that's about all.

 

What he's saying is that he hadn't build outside the limit although the island protect prohibits his building. I'll take a closer look when I get on but either than that, this might be a technical issue

 

Lel, thanks for this enlightening and useful post. The cancer in my eyes, I got from reading it, was totally worth it. Every mod ever said 99x99, my island is 99x99.

Hmmm... i could have the same problem.. didn't measure my island though >.> just needed 1 row of blocks on one side but my island is not big enough :c

No, I want to know why no one can fix my worldguard issue? The only thing that I could see that could be wrong is the plugin itself. From my bedrock, I am protected 49 blocks out two ways, and 48 in the other too. An explanation of why this can't be fixed is what I'm waiting for.

No one can fix your worldguard issue because the island next to it has a limit of 99x99, so it will be overlapping it. The most you can do is, once again, ask a super moderator to destroy that wall and have them rebuild it so you can have access to it.

Think of the issue like this:
X Player has the 99x99 island limit, and is next to Y player with the 99x98 island limit due to a bug. Y Player is an older player that has built with the 99x99 limit, and X player is right next to the island that is 99x98. We know that there has to be one block between each island for bug purposes (such as this) and more reliability, but you were cut off with the 99x98 island limit because if you add all the lengths of the islands in your row together, you'll find there's another island there with the worldguard protection.

Hopefully this is right, and maybe it'll make sense.
