There are so many players who would love getting the rank donor or sky-god, but for some reason, they can't buy it, or they simply don't like the price tag.

So, I was thinking that if someone donates a substantial number of grass, votes, voter keys, or anything else they have, they can reach a level which is an "Honorary Donor".

Maybe as an "Honorary Donor", the person could get access to some of the perks regular donors have, but they still have limitations....

Donate grass, votes, voter keys to who? If its me...I support this idea 100%. If not...I don't think this is a great idea. They can just save up those items to the value of the donor rank they want, and pay for someone to upgrade them.

 

I don't know about you, but this sounds like something that already happens. People who want donor and cannot/ will not pay for it will save up their 'valuables' and sell it to people to buy them donor. For now, no support

 

Donating in game items does not help the server in any way and should not be labeled as any kind of server 'donation'. Maybe receiving a rank like member or something but not a donor. And with no perks, just a prefix maybe? encourages donating and helping the server to continue its run. But again this also makes the chat messy and I see no purpose of adding a whole new rank.

No. You can easily get enough rares for an upgrade and trade it for donor.

 

No support. The whole idea of getting any type of donor rank is that you will donate money to the server, therefore giving you the title "Donor". Not by donating rares or whatnot.
