I've been playing for a couple of hours now , it's late and I'm tired and I want to go to bed but my kit is available in 30 minutes.

This is the most common scenario that would be solved but this revision to the kit cool down.

 

That would mean I can come on at 11:00 PM, get my kit, than wait 1 hour to get my kit again, since it would be 12:00 AM which is the other day.

Then you would basically have to wait another 48 hours to do it again

I still like the idea, but I use to log on just for my kit, and this would have made it where I only would have to log in every other night. Instead of actually one a day.

That's true, but what's the problem with that? It's not gonna hurt anything... Just 2 in 48 hours anyways
That's the same as 1 in 24

Easier. A kit isn't a privilege. It's a reward. You should have to work a little for it. You didn't pay for it. You donated and earned the privilege to get it.

That's correct but you can never get anymore than you are entitled too.

 

I disagree with this a little. I believe we did pay for it. The button you click on shop.skyblock.net clearly says 'Buy' and the web site makes no mention of it being a donation. I know everyone says it's a donation and I'm happy to go with that but I believe that once you donate or buy the upgrade you are entitled to the kits daily regardless of how much you play.
To get technical the site says you get the kit 'everyday' which is actually impossible. Even if you were able to be online at the same time every day there would always be a delay due to lag that would push the time back and back and you would eventually miss a day.
The suggested system would enable people to get their kit every day as the web site suggests.

The main reason for my suggestion was to prevent people from having to stay up later and later to get their kits so that hose who play every day don't miss out, while ensuring they can't get more than they are entitled to.

 

Like I said, I like it. But you have to point out its flaws as well. That's what this forum is for. To debate and spitball ideas.

I couldn't agree more. Always happy to hear the other side and ensure some major flaw isn't overlooked.

 

I propose a compromise. Move the kit one half-hour back. Instead of 24 hours it would be 23.5 hours.

Full Support! You still only get it once per day. Maybe all donors should have this but say it was donor50 it would only be once every 2 days rather than 48 hours (same idea)

 

So what usually happens with suggestions?
Do they get reviewed by the powers that be and given an official 'No' or 'Yes', or do they just scroll off the bottom of the page to become lost in the nether?
