I started skyblock.net from experiencing other servers as I was new to minecraft. I had never played skyblock before. I was shy at the time and curious of what people were like on the server. Also learning new things, my rares, God Items. My friends even started playing as I got them involved on the server. Some had already been playing it since I knew. As I grew and grew I became one with the server, until I got banned.

As carpets came into minecraft I didn't know what the new blocks would do. I broke one on someones island but put it back after a while. With no clear instruction of what to do I was a sitting duck, doing nothing. All my hopes and dreams, fantasies of what I could do on the server was lost.
Until one day I typed in the server IP into Google, the forums popped up and I clicked on the link, I thought I had been saved.
As I was unexperienced on the forums, I did not know what to do. I sent the template to Cyp and Crew. (One of those *Facepalm* moments now xD)
As there were no greetings back then I didn't know how to post a thread anywhere on the forums. The game had finished even before it had started.

I tried again for the final time as I was going to give up. The same ban message appeared for a few months. Then "Logging in" appeared sometime in 2013/14. I was happy to get back on but was saddened that I could of got back on sooner. I arrived on the server again and continuously continued to grow. One day there was a big drop party. SLGMichelle was there would was a Skygod, Terrick. I was chatting to him about the server until he said "You should be mod".
Those words changed my days from then on...

Moderator Application Advertisation

I applied for mod but wasn't helpful enough on the server. I tried helping other people on the forums and on their Moderator Application. People who I helped were happy but I didn't please many Mods or experienced players at all on the forums.
As I was still unexperienced I didn't know how to do signatures, so I thought that putting the link to your mod app was OK and it would go under your message.
People started using me advertising saying that they wouldn't support it. I would agree with them at that time.
Lycel then came into my Skyblock Life... XD

Me and Lycel soon became good friends on the server and on the forums as she helped me out in my mod app, then I deleted it. She soon got moderator and I was rooting for her.

I then waited and thought about applying for mod again, I was persistent and resilient. Then I sent Lycel a conversation. Advertising-but-not-advertising-mod-app.42307 where she told me about a Signature, and all it did.By Christmas, I had got Donor50. I got it as an 'Early Christmas Present'.

April 2015

I wrote a new moderator Application in April 2015 and started slow. I helped out on other moderator applications and in discussions. I took advice from other people. I then stepped my game up a whole lot after Summer 2015. I helped out on the server and I started to get more supports. I also made many new friends in that time. I then closed my mod app in June 2015 and reconsidered it. Out of the blue, I asked my father if he could get me Donor100... And yes, I did get it.Now I then reopened it in August and was more active and helped more as I had the time to go on. I have many friends ranging from greenies to Skygods and are willing to do anything for anybody!
So here I am now, waiting for some more action packed fun.
