I can't post a recipe as such but last night I spent 5 hours making a Mr Bump cake for a school cake competition. It has 4 different layers of coloured sponges, red, green, yellow, blue. It then has a buttercream icing around the sides and in between the layers. Then theres ready to roll icing around the whole outside (blue) and to top it off I used some white sheets of ready to roll icing as bandages. Oh, and minstrels for eyes. I love baking too much.
Um, ok. I'll copy and paste mine from another thread bc I'm lazy: Nutella chocolate cake I personally love this (and nutella, don't judge ) because it can be very moist depending on how much nutella you use and it's never around for long because I eat it all. All in all, it's a beginner cake and tastes amazing! _-Ingredients (for the cake)-_ 100g self raising flour 100g caster (or superfine, it depends where you live) sugar 100g butter 2 eggs 1 teaspoon milk Nutella (about 65g should do, but use 65g as a base - I would say don't add less than 50g and don't add more than 75g) 15g cocoa powder _-Ingredients (for the icing)-_ 200g icing sugar (also called confectioner's sugar and powdered sugar in some places) 75g butter 25g cocoa powder (optional) _-Method (for the cakes)-_ 1. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and cream them together. 2. Crack the eggs in to the bowl and mix 3. Now add the flour AND cocoa powder and mix 4. Beat in the flour 5. Mix in your desired amount of nutella. 6. Divide between two 20cm/8inch greased baking tins 7. Bake at 190 degrees celcius/gas mark 5/375 degrees farenheit for 30 minutes, or until when you lightly press down on the top of the cakes it springs back up. 8. Take the cakes out of the baking tins and leave on a cooling rack until completely cool _-Method (for the icing)-_ 1. Put the icing sugar(also called confectioner's sugar and powdered sugar), butter, AND cocoa powder (if you're using it) into a bowl and beat until buttercream forms. 2. Use the buttercream as filling between the two cakes and put some on the top if you have spare. Enjoy! (copied from http://www.skyblock.net/threads/recipes.58071/)
