Why do you think you should become a staff member?

I believe that I should become a Helper because I have what it takes to make a good staff member. I have educated myself on the rules that apply to the server, forums and Discord, and the punishments that are associated with breaching them. I’m an alert person and quick to notice if something is wrong or unusual. I am tolerant to a degree, but when things start to get out of hand I will actively start dealing with problems to find solutions.


I am forthright, in that I express my honest opinion on subjects and ideas. I am trusting, and I put my faith in others to do what is right or necessary. However, I know from experience that not everyone can be trusted, and not everyone can take an opinion. That’s just something I must accept.


I am a responsible, selfless young man who is considerate and respectful to those around me while I’m involved in anything. I prioritise others, and making sure that they are enjoying their time is what I like to do best. I like to know what’s going on around me and what I can do to make things better and, ultimately, more enjoyable for everyone.



Traits


Honesty

I am very honest with people in ways. Being honest can be hurtful as well. Some people can go too far in being honest with one another. I like being honest but I don't like taking it too far. Taking it to far can cause people to feel all bad and sad. Even though I am honest I don't like taking it to far. I like being direct to people if the person takes it too far in many ways. I like saying the truth instead of causing more lies that can cause more problems.


How could this trait help me as a helper? I think honesty could help me gain respect among the other staff members. I would never be inclined to lie about a situation which would help me straight up with my co-workers. This, would in turn, help the staff team run more effectively.


Equality

I like being equal to others. I don't care what the race of the person is. I like treating everyone the same no matter what. No matter what religion or language the person speaks I like treating them the same. I respect the person no matter what they are or who they are. Being equal to a person is very good which makes the person feel right in this community. Also, in-game no matter what rank people have as well.I like treating every single person like if they were all the same.


How could this trait help as a helper? I think equality is needed for this position, everyone deserves the same punishments, doesn't matter if it's a friend of mine or if it has another religion or speaks another language.


Polite

I like to think of myself as a polite person. I think it is quite important to be respectful to all your fellow community and staff members. Being polite will gain you respect which I value from my fellow players.


How could this trait help me as a helper? I believe players are more willing to listen to a staff member who is polite and relatable. This means I could leave a player feeling comfortable about the situation and we could resolve it peacefully from there.


Organized

Whenever an issue comes to hand, I like to deal with it in an orderly fashion. People that are messy when they deal with things, tend to fail in their duty. When I need to help deal with something, that is the time when I put on my intelligence hat and organize a way to deal with the problem at hand.


How could this trait help me as a helper? I think being organized can save you a whole lot of time when coming to reports, ban appeals, questions, etc. Being organized means I can do something in a productive way.

Maturity
When it comes to my job (Or something quite similar to a job) I can act very mature. I try to avoid arguments (Although, I won't lie, I've been in arguments myself) and attempt to stop them before they get too serious. I am also very respectful of other people (regardless of who they are).
Note on maturity: I realize that recently my maturity hasn't been the best, however, I will do my best to show you the absolute best of my maturity.

How could this trait help me?
Being mature is a key role in being a staff member. Staff members are role models in the server and being mature will set examples for players to be mature themselves

I will ensure that I fulfill the role of the Helper to the best of my ability like it’s my passion.


How long can you be active on the server everyday?

I am active for at least 3 hours a day.

How long have you been playing Skyblock?

I am no newbie to the server as I started to play on my old account back in 2015

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)

Yes I have twice, once for advertising when I told my friend the ip of a server in private chat, I appealed and was unbanned very quickly, and once for looting quite a while ago. I faced my punishment and have learnt from my mistakes.

Do you have any previous moderation experience?

No, however I will try my best to learn how I can improve myself if this is accepted.

Pros- Active, friendly, mature (from what I’ve seen)
Cons- I haven’t seen you help out that much (maybe just me but I personally haven’t seen much of you helping out)

Neutral for now but will support in the future assuming I see more helping others.
