What is strange is I tried to look up the same person on namemc 3 times and it told me the name was available but after a bit it then showed me the account. I had the name correct and everything. Not sure about in game.
WOW that is weird, a player said 'Maybe they moved their account to bedrock' after I was pondering this in public chat but I was like 'how is that even possible'. EDIT: The strange thing is that I can still visit them.
I wonder if it’s like those Minecraft accounts people talk about where it is like a Minecraft accounts for a limited amount of time and then it gets deleted? bloc gortrik
Yeah maybe, I'll try setting an alt's IGN to it to see if Mojang says it's available if it is the island should relistically be deleted.
Mojang doesn't delete accounts, the "gortrik"account I was using was a NFA account, it means you can use it for few days and they will change the password and you can't login with it anymore. and they are super cheap like 0.01usd each
That's normal, sometimes name mc is buggy like that. It happens when you recently change your name to something else I recently changed my name from confusedwhale two kalmwhale and it took around to days to update. If the user recently changed their name to that then it could take a while forename mc to recognize that their name was changed.
