Okay who're is ask my question I'll give you a lil background, Scotland is having a referendum (a vote) on whether we want to stay in the united kingdom or not a week today. I am not gonna ask whether you think we should or not, neither am I asking my fellow scots what they are/would vote.

My question is has any other countries been talking about it because it's a pretty big thing and I'm wondered whether other countries consider it a big thing as well.

Remember: no views, no debates (from scots) I want to hear what other countries think

    I've heard about it briefly.
I'm not AT ALL knowledgeable about it, I don't know why you guys would want to leave or stay or anything.
    I'll do some research :p

    Moving this to off topic.

If I see even the tiniest bit of flame in this thread, I'm closing it.

Haha according to some scots it's because the government is more concerned with keeping London and the south happy and not enough effort is put into looking after scotland

Others would say that there is too much of a risk of things going pear shaped cause of the proposals

It's a lot more complex than this but I don't have time and I don't want to show any of my biased attitudes or say what I will vote

Just reinforcing it, politics can be a very touchy subject.

This is a pretty complicated topic, I know a little bit though as I visited Parliament House in Australia once a few months ago.

I'm British an even I don't really feel I have enough understanding of the pro's/Con's to make a considered opinion, though I would like to see Scotland still part of the United Kingdom personally.

As a qualified voter I don't feel it would be right to weigh up the pros and cons as I will most likely show a biased view

For some reason I thought Canada would be interested cause we have quite a few Canadians moved to scotland
