Why do you think you should be unbanned? It's not against the rules to joke with your friends about "offensive" stuff. I know there isn't an exact ruling, but it's similar to this rule:

I reported the post she made because I felt like it could and probably would trigger someone else. I didn't want any action to be taken towards Jess. I probably should have made that a little more clear but I assumed me mocking being offended was enough, I'm sorry for making it seem like I was really offended. I don't feel she deserves to be muted because she literally told me she was gonna say something rude and I was okay with it. We both had different opinions on the thread but neither of us have any real beef that would lead to either of us telling eachother seriously to harm ourselves.
