So recently I have changed my name from "Famasaty" to "seanbaunn". I wasn't able to access my chest and island so a Mod got rid of my locked chest and gave me a bed. But now that there is island protection, I can't access anything. I was hoping if there was anyway that I could get added to my own island? Since I don't have to original name so I cant do /coop invite seanbaunn. If anybody can help my problem, feel free to reply! Thanks! ~Seany
I thought the update would fix this issue, apparently not. Moderators can transfer them to your new one, unless there is a solution to get back on your old island as the owner.
Moderators can only break and assist with protected blocks, such as chests or protected doors or stuff like that. They cannot help with any sort of transferring ownership to a new name or alternate account. As far as regaining your ownership to the island, I think only an Admin or higher can help with that. (So someone like the famous Cyp for example) You would have to talk to them via a Personal Message but a lot of them are very busy so a reply from them is somewhat optional. Best you can do is try to have a Moderator move your stuff to a new island but keep your /homes set on that old island. If an Admin (or of course someone of higher rank) happens to reply to that PM with the intent to help, then you will be able to move your items back to that old island without much issue. change your name back. If this doesnt work you need admin help. However, i feel it is best for you to make a new thread if you still have the same issue.
