Is anyone able to tell me why my island has been deleted. It's not just been reset. I simply have no skyblock anymore??
Hey Mech! There's now two server, /classic and /Skyblock, by default you probably spawned in /Skyblock. Your island is likely on the old classic server. When you get in game simple do /classic and check there.
No, my island on the new server has dissapeared. I try to go /home and it says, I don't have an island!! I had my island level up to over 10,000 and now it is gone.
when i logged in, I was at the place where my island used to be, but there is someone else there now. I know because the neighbors are the neighbors I had.
Islands may be removed without notice if the owner is inactive, especially if the island in question causes problems for the server, their neighbors, or other players and the owner is not available to address any resulting complaints in a timely manner. Your island was a giant lava/cobble pyramid that spilled well outside your allowed build space and far into all four of your neighbors' islands, and you hadn't been seen in over three weeks. Therefore, your island was removed and the remaining mess in your neighbors' island space was cleaned up manually. You can do /newisland to start a new skyblock, but going forward please try to be a more considerate neighbor and avoid creating builds that create excessive lag, spill outside your island bounds, or otherwise create a public nuisance.
Inactive for 3 weeks? I was on a couple of days ago and very regularly prior to that. There were no messages, no mail, no correspondence at all !!! You create, essentially, a competition that encourages people to build large islands and then delete them because the server can't handle it. And then go insinuating that I am a public nuisance ??? Regarding, the neighbors, none had been on for the last month so no complaint came from there. My island was deleted because the server cant handle large builds! Please explain.
Leeeroieee was the one who said my island was causing lag. The fact is, he said he is permitted to delete islands of inactive players and wrongly claimed that I was inactive in trying to justify his actions. The island spilt only a small amount in to neighboring islands which, I admit is not right, but does not warrant deleting my entire island. Whats more, I don't think you are in a position to come here and talk about whats right and whats wrong. Abusing the lottery glitch as you did. What you have done here is far more of an issue than what I did, and what was your penalty?? little to none!!
I'm not comparing anything, I said, you're not in a position to make comment given your attempt to benefit greatly from a server glitch. If you had read what I said, you would know that the people around me were never online during anytime that my island went in to their space so no one was affected. That part of the island could have been removed, without deleting the entire island.
Do you think before you speak??? If you were using the ill gotten grass to build with, that's benefiting you!! And if I was causing server lag, then that just shows that large builds cause lag, which is my claim from the start and I suspect, the main reason my island was deleted?
Firstly Lee never said the server couldn't handle the build. There is a possibility one of your neighbours was lagging due to the excessive lava that was present. This means your build was restricting someone elses game play which is wrong to do. I have a large build, the castle build next to me is huge. But the difference is we didn't use excessive amounts of lava, make a huge mess around our neighbours and cause issues. On classic I know flowing lava and water mainly caused fps drops and crashes before it affected the server. If you want to build an unorthodox island to gain levels, thats fine however when you have a build that extends out of your allowed area then that is problematic. You should have created a boundary to build in. You decided to push the boundary to get a high level and it didn't pay off. Sheep was already punished for exploiting the lottery so you shouldn't hold that against him. This is all on you.
you exploited the lottery glitch to get grass for free. The plan was to hollow out the pyramid and build inside. Third time, I am saying this now Krissy, the neighbors were never there!!! If I'm smart enough to automate my build by using lava and water, then credit to me. I've already mentioned that the issue with the island going into the neighbors and still claim that it doesn't warrant deletion of my island. As mentioned, the plan was to hollow out the pyramid to build inside, which would have obviously reduced the island level. I've still seen no justification for deleting my island.
Does anyone read the entire post before commenting??? I didn't complain. I simply stated that I believed that his own wrong doings, makes him somewhat of a hypocrite to come here and talk about whats wrong and whats right.
Yes and there was a process before this, yes, questions asked, investigations took place. A process as you would expect. Where was my process? There was none, no communications, no questions, no nothing. Just up and delete the island. Leeeroieee can you answer this?
As I explained earlier, your island was deleted because you built beyond your island's allowed build area and poured lava and cobble into your neighbors' island space. This is not acceptable. Please do not do it again.
