Hey so my username is rak237. Whenever I am on with my friend, username steezchunk, we cannot see each other in the game. We are invisible to each other and it is very annoying and I want to know how to fix it. Thanks.
You should try to use the same versions. There's a method to reveal a player invisible by glitch. It doesn't always work though... climb a ladder.
As stated above, make sure both you and your friend are both using the same version. Try 1.7.10 or less xD
The glitch is as follows: if you are using 1.8 you will not be able to see players who use 1.7 1.8.1 has too many bugs for skyblock, i personally would not use. Use 1.7.5, it is the least buggy at the moment. If you have someone teleport to you and you cannot see them, either fly up high or climb up high and they will appear. If not, it would be because you are in 1.8 and its definitely that bug.
