I am still confused to why hoppers are disabled on .net I've been trying to figure out what would happen besides the use is they were enabled, just a question because I was going to build an advanced trading station or whatever you would call it and it involves hoppers. Thank You
They're disabled due do them being used for duplicating. They may or may not come back, just depends if it can be fixed.
Hoppers will be re-enabled when either: -Minecraft releases an update fixing it, and then the server updates to use that version of Minecraft, which in itself may take a long time, looking at the time it took for the server to become 1.8. -A plugin is released that will fix the duplication bug. I have no idea if this plugin exists now even, I haven't looked. So, it could will take months and could take even longer. :l
What lycel said. The reason why they were disabled was a dupe glitch that was found which is not server based and not fixable/patch-able by a plugin at this time.
