I think that would be more hassle then anything else. If people have a bad connection they would keep tping back to home. and this doesnt stop those Donor 50+ from flying to your coords to grief.

Agreed, but thinking in that manner, there will always be a chance that you'll be griefed. No matter what we do, there will always be loopholes. :/ This is a suggestion in hopes that it'll reduce at least a bit of these griefs, as log-out griefs are one of the most common methods for griefs. :(

Also, true, this'd me annoying for people lagging on the server, having to constantly use /home. That's the 'bad side' about this suggestion. Therefore, it's up to y'all whther you prefer this or that.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Lag isn't a problem. If all 500 players executed /home at the exact same time, it would cause little to no lag. Home on connect is being added to .org for sure, we'll see about .net.

I mean, like, if a player is constantly lagging out & getting kicked, they'll have to keep on using /home. Or at least that's what I think secen7 is saying. :/

Oh I see, that would be the bare minimum players though, and a lot of other server teleport to spawn or an alternative, so it isn't new.

You seem to disagree to this suggestion. Could you please explain your opinion on this in more detail for me? ^-^

I want your islands safe, i really do. As long as moderators get a bypass to this I will keep my 50% support. As I said before I have needed to quickly log off on islands sometimes and i dont want to be sent home. I dont want to have to save coords down too. I always time out so sometimes i dont get the chance to save the coords.
Plus what about people who time out, bad connection ect. They will be forced back home, and idk that will become a hassle. But whats more donors that have the /back command most likely will be able to get back to where they were before, so thats something that needs to be considered.
There are other ways people can bypass this type of thing, i wont give any ideas.
All i see this to be is an inconvenience rather than a help. Sure it will stop some of the griefing problems, but i can see it also becoming a hassle.

Very true, but to be completely honest, there will always be loopholes in anything we do to try and stop griefing/looting. :/ And yes, of course, the moderators would be an exception to this feature, as this may be a problem when doing their/our job.

Also, as mentioned quite often before, the problem to this suggestion is that it is indeed quite inconvenient in a way. This really depends on the player's values & their experiences, but I'd rather go through this small hassle, rather than shudder in fear whenever someone log off on my island.

I just dont let people i dont trust on my island so i dont really have a problem with log out griefs. Which if people were more aware and smart, they would and we wouldnt need this suggestion. In some case its handy but i think 8/10 times it wont be.
Sorry, i dont like this suggestion as much as it will protect some people and nothing will change my mind. I would rather take precautions than make life difficult for the informed.

This is a pretty good idea, and due to the conditions stated earlier in the thread (mods bypassing and such) I completely support c:
Also, you can't expect every player to be always aware of who they're letting on their island, form samples (<edit> wtf phone, for example**) for players with shops/casinos.

they ought to be more careful. when you make casinos and shops its at your own risk.
I time out at least 3 times a session. If i was a regular player i know home on connect concept would be horribly frustrating.
This is why i think precautions over plugins.

Both of you're completely right. People should take precautions over receiving assists from plugins, definitely true. But personally, the fact that we can create shops/casinos for all others to visit freely is one of the key parts I love about SkyBlock.

People should definitely be cautious of who they're teleporting & they should take responsibility for it, but realistically speaking, a lot of players on SkyBlock are inexperienced, and these players will definitely still make this mistake at one point. Again, no 'right or wrong' to this - it really depends on one's values & circumstances.

I mean...if there will be some sort of island protection plug-in on the server, it will definitely prevent a ton of grief.
