Gold is kind of tricky to deal with; at /warp grass is 1 ingot for 1 grass, but the rate is usually 9 ingots = 3-4 grass. Usually meaning about 55 gold ingots is worth approximately a diamond.

Iron is 2 ingots for 1 grass, so about 4-5 ingots of gold = about 2 iron ingots.

 

I buy gold blocks for about 5 diamonds a stack due to the lack of people wanting them.
