Hello fellow Skyblockers,
Today I will be talking about the fact that God items are completely worthless. I often see people selling God items for extremely high prices, less than and hour ago I saw someone trying to sell 10 God items for 2 Diamonds!
I do know how people feel when they recieve their first God item, I've been down that road. But now, seriously, you could probably ask any given player on Skyblock.net and they'd probably just give it to you.
Basically, the message I'm trying to get out there is, please stop selling God items! Keep them for your own use, or give them away to someone that might need them!
I hope people agree with me and I would appreciate if you took part in the poll. I try to point out this fact in-game but I find people don't listen. The person that I mentioned earlier about selling the 10 God items kept going on for about 5-10 minutes after I'd told them twice that God items are worthless.
This isn't a major issue, it's just something that annoys me, I'm not sure about you guys.

I see where you are coming from, but for people who do not have as many rares or diamonds as others; they may see God Items as valuable.

I remember when I was a non-donor and I received my first God Item and I thought "Wow, this is amazing!", but then as you get more experience in Skyblock, God Items decrease in value in your point of view.

Basically, I get that you see God Items can we sold for way too much, but it's nice to give people less fortunate something to get excited over. :3

 

When I started, god items had to be legit enchanted by doing /enchant silk 1 and such for every possible enchant on the tool, there was no such thing as god "items", only god tools, I remember when I got my first god tool, it was a stone pick axe, it was so special to me that I wouldn't even dare to use it. I saw it as rare as I knew already that there was no possible way to enchant it from a table and pondered where it came from. Then, a lot of people started to open some booths at /warp skybase where they would god enchant items for grass blocks or iron, it was then that I found that they were quite worthless, most people will eventually grow out of them.

 

I understand what you mean but I often offer people 'free stuff' when they seem in need.

 

I see, I remember my first God item, it was a sugar cane. It's just quite annoying when people spam the fact thst they're selling God items no matter how often people tell them that they're worthless.
