I was banned because I said "kys" and it turned it into a smiley face. So then i wanted to see if actually typing it out would censor it into anything so i said "kill youself". Nothing. no censor no nothing. I knew i was screwed. To clear things up, no death threats were made. even if i was telling someone to kill themselves, it wouldn't be a death threat anyways. Because it was my first offence. No warn, no mute, no shorter ban. just right to the point. Also i didn't threaten anyone. telling someone to kill themself isnt a threat.
Saying to "kill yourself" isn't a joke and isn't tolerated on this server. Not to mention, you were reported just before I got online to handle the report for sending inappropriate links to another player. I don't believe that you just said it to see what the filter would do at all.
I understand it isn't a joke and i've found out the hard way that it really hurts people. that "inappropriate link" was a troll link that linked to rick astley never gonna give you up. I wouldn't send any inappropriate links to people for fun. I told him to trust me, and that is was funny. I was gonna rick roll them.
Anyway, looking at your appeal you say that telling someone to kill themselves isn't a detah threat. What you said could hurt someone really badly and leave an emotional scar on them. I'd like you to restate the rules in your own words and explain why what you did was wrong.
I know what i did was wrong, and i feel bad about it. Even though it wasn't a direct statement, it was still wrong and I apologies.
