Greenies are just the same as donors. Doesn't make anyone else different in any way just because of their status.

I've been playing for a long time, this is the first one I've seen since 7-9 days. If you would look at his other messages you can clearly see he is very young and is NOT trying to be annoying or spam because he simply doesn't know it. He spells items itams etc.

 

Ok sry didn't read all comments. If you take out all greenie spammers (i did /ignore to every spammer) i only see the few donors who fill the chat really fast with their comments... only my sight of the net chat.

 

I disagree with the original post entirely. The solution is not limit greenbeans, because then no one will want to stay and become donor. The solution is to get more moderators to weed out the bad greenbeans. That way those who want to chat can and the rest can learn from their mistakes.

It seems people have missed the point of this comment. It's to show how hypocritical the idea is. You want to remove chat from the law-abiding nondonors because others ruin it for them, but at the same time, don't want your OWN chat to be taken away by other donors. You're going against your own word.

No, not everyone 100% knows that spamming is against the rules. There are new people to servers, minecraft, or too young to get that as common sense. There are many times when I have kindly asked a greenie to stop spamming and they did, and the respected the new rule they have learned.

The 1.8 update and the skyblock update has made trade boom like crazy, and chat a little crazier. So I do feel like something should be done, but all alternatives that have been suggested so far are too segregating. I don't really like how these threads seem to target restriction to greenies...
