• Why do you think you should be unbanned? I simply stated FBI crime statistics, I have no clue how that makes my signs racist, its literally just a fact, a statistic. There's nothing to do with the inferiority of races, its simply a running gag among my friends.

 

Hello ColonelCalcium, thank you for taking the time to appeal.

For the record, the 'crime statistics' sign you made was not the only sign you created, you also created another sign on MadeForFreedom's island which stated a word similar to the n-word.

Back to the other sign, why did you target the violent crime rates amongst this group of people specifically?

Even though you claim that the signs you are creating are a 'running gag' among your friends, can you see why this can be inappropriate to certain visitors to the island? Why should I unban you?

 

I dont see why a statistic would trigger someone, I simply state it for the level of disbelief it will leave on others faces. I mean isnt it crazy a group making on 13% of the total also account for over 50%!!! Just having fun with friends you know, I feel like islands shouldnt even be a place for someone to just go and get mad at builds, it should be a place for freedom and fun, and if someone doesnt like it they dont have to visit, and if its truly terrible it can simply be permalocked by an admin.

 

I agree that your own island should be a place for creativity and fun, but I can’t see that a sign indicating violent crime rates for a whole race of people, or a sign saying something similar to the n-word could be either fun or creative. We have to have regulations about this kind of stuff, as anyone can come across an island, and depending on who they are, they could feel targeted or discriminated against with this kind of material on the island they visit. It’s not as simple as ‘permalocking’ an island. The server welcomes anyone from anywhere, no matter who they are or their background.

I feel as if you are not owning up to your actions. Is there anything else you would like to say?
