Ok so, I was playing, and one of my friends asked me to join their island, so I set my /homes at my island so I could get back to it, (this was before the update that made you not be able to edit other ppls islands) but then the update came, and I cant edit my old island, which has almost all my stuff, and the owner of that island doesn't play anymore so they cant invite me or /trust me. What should I do?

 

I would suggest trying to get the owner ship of the islabd chnaged to you, but the only people who can change the ownership of an island are the admins and the owner (Cyp, Noobcrew) i suggest sending Cyp a PM explaining what happened and wait for a reply. I wish you the best of luck!

He wasn't the owner of the island, so why should cyp/crew change it so he can be the owner? I doubt cyp/crew can change ownerships of a island anyway, there was a incident once and he said he couldn't change the ownerships.
