can we use commands like [anchor=point1]point 1[/anchor] [anchor=point1][iurl=#point1]go to point 1[/iurl][/anchor] [anchor]{TEXT}[/anchor] [goto={TEXT1}]go to here [/goto] <a name="{TEXT}"></a> <a href="#{TEXT1}">{TEXT2}</a> to set points in our threat so we can quick link people to certain sections of the thread ? if not is there a way ??
The forums use BBCode for this kind of thing. As far as I know, BBCode does not have this feature and it's pretty much impossible to change that. For this to work, Noobcrew would have to add SafeHTML support for post formatting.
i though [anchor]{TEXT}[/anchor] was bbcode ? i searched google for bbcode and thats what i found in a tut :S oh well if its not possible thats cool
from what i saw i think only certain forums have it. A forum i made a long time ago u could use it but alot i post on don't.
Nah, I looked it up, BBCode doesn't seem to have that feature. Like I said though, there's SafeHTML which is basically HTML which denies some tags that could be abused. It allows <a>, <img>, stuff like that you know.
ahh well i may post it in suggestions. Its not a problem i cant do this just would of been easier when i make my large 3-4 post tuts to have a link at the top for quick reference thanks for your time bud and helping me with this
3.0.x Modifications Forums <--- that will be why lol Noobcrew could it be possible to get safeHTML or anchor 2 work ??
ahh i may be able to use this if it works ... The [jumpto] tag allows you to jump to another location within a post, usually used for long posts with headings and/or sections of interest. This tag must be used in conjunction with the [aname] tag. One is not functional without the other. [jumpto=[/COLOR]Option]value[/jumpto] [jumpto=aname]This takes you to a new location within a post[/jumpto] The [aname] tag is used in conjunction with the [jumpto] tag. I am too lazy to learn that. I manage the easy parts as anyone else, but when it gets complicated I lose my interestx)
