Vidal is a key signing to sort out our midfield. I would like Matuidi or Pogba back (why did we let him go)
Di Maria would be another key signing to actually encourage the players to get forward. We have too many players sitting back in defence and not enough supporting RVP and Rooney.
Yes Daley Blind needs to be signed too. As a young, strong defender I really do hope that he can bring a solid defence to United. Those 3 signings would make my season. We don't need Herrera much and £30 million on a left back is pointless. But I am happy with signing Shaw don't get me wrong. I just think we should have spent less money on him and saved the money for Vidal
I love Shaw, he's one of my favorite players. I just recently got into football and he was signed around that time, so he's just stuck a bit. :] However, it's true that we could have saved some money on Shaw to get Vidal, but I think Shaw will do great. We need #GlazersOut though. They're nothing but no good. :/
Haha yes I believe that Shaw will perform. I play a lot of football and I just love football. I play it all the time in my spare time and not in my spare time XD
What I have seen is that full backs don't exactly contribute much to the game. Yes they are important but all they do is stand the players up and clear. I think he got about 3 assists last season and no goals?
I was about 5 years old when the Glazers took over and I remember my parents being very mad at the fact they took over. I didn't understand at the time but I learnt over the next couple of years. They have brought nothing but debt, poor decisions and changed the club to have a hunger for money rather than success.
If we throw out glazers, we're golden, pretty much. Let's hope Van Gaal just takes over and brings back the glory of Old Trafford. With Van Gaal, we've been doing well. If we could just throw out Glazers and get Vidal, Di Maria and Blind, it'd be amazing. Vidal has been being signed since I became a fan of Manchester United, so I've been very eager to get him in Manchester united since forever.
Di Maria would also be a good choice, and maybe Rojo can somehow speak to him about joining Manchester United since they're both from the same national team and country. xD
Ah yes. I hope do.
I like the stability of a single owner. It was perfect when Ferguson was here. I guess that if what you said happened and we get a good, genuine owner in then the glory days are back
I wish we could bring back CR7 though. He'd be the King of Old Trafford again. I'd love to see him in action at United, since I've never seen him play for us. Maxi (maximilian500 on forums) told me a lot about Ronaldo and now I want to see him play for UTD so much. Think we'll ever get him back?
Yes Maxi is right. CR7 was made in heaven. I watched him at his peak in the 2007-2008 season and OMG! 31 goals in the Premier League for a winger was unthinkable. I remember his free kicks, his blistering pace and his sick skills. If he comes back I will genuinely cry. I remember crying for hours when he left and I couldn't believe it. If he comes back we will embrace him with open arms
United is Ronaldo's home. Yes we are all supposed to hate him for his actions for leaving United, but we all love him. He was our saviour. I remember his goal in the Champions. League Final to win us a treble, the first one in my lifetime (Last one 1999. Watched the champions league final so many times from that year) and I remember I broke the coffee table cause I jumped on it XD
I saw him play for RM in the RM vs MU game, but it's not the same when it's a club you don't follow, it'd be a different ball game (see what I did there? ;> if CR7 was on MU's side. I'd love to see him get signed for MU again, I'd probably cry my eyes out. I hope that maybe next year on the anniversary of CR7 joining MU in 2003 they'll just sign him to make all the fans very happy for the anniversary.
If we bring him back it will make my entire decade. United cannot seem to compete with the other clubs when it comes to signing quality players in Europe. I mean how many 15+ million players have we signed in the past 10 years? I can think of just a few: Owen Hargreaves (good in first season), Anderson (not lived up to potential), Herrera (don't know), De Gea (turned into a good goalkeeper and maybe Nani.
We basically shaped CR7's career. I wish we had The King of Old Trafford back. Then when you mentioned De Gea I remembered how much I adore him. I don't know why but I just really like De Gea. I'm very glad about Herrera joining us. I think he'll do great for us. He has great potential in my opinion.
If we started another fund, I would donate as much money as I have to it. I am sure so many people would donate to that. A THROW OUT GLAZERS fund would be amazing too.
