The performance from us was not all too good, however the game itself was very interesting to watch, seeing as it has numerous twists and unexpected things happen.
The defense seemed not to work well.
I hope we end up 3rd or so anyway.. Defense needs to work itself out, it's not that it lacks good players (imo), but it lacks understanding between them.
What the defense needs is a leader, in my opinion that could be Hummels.

Yes I agree with you we need a leader.
I don't really want to make a prediction for Chelsea game. It's going to be a dark night for us United fans.
We don't have Vidic, Ferdinand or Evra anymore and we are in shambles.
Costa will most probably not play due to injuries, so that's a plus.
Once defense is sorted out, gaining a good result in the BPL will not be as challenging as right now, but it will take a lot of training and hard work to keep up the current score (or better).
Once January rolls around many players will be signed, and hopefully, Hummels gets signed and helps up the defense.
