Introduction:
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Rahul and i'm 15 years old. I love playing Skyblock.net (sometimes skywars) and playing basketball + baseball. When I grow up, I would either like to become an NBA player or become a computer programmer. Well here it is:

I speak 3 different languages: Hindi(Dominate), English(Secondary, professional) and currently taking Spanish.(Currently know a lot of words in Spanish)

Yes, now I do because of what Cypriot stated.

Yes, I do. I know how to take screen shots(F2) and I use a Bandicam, which is a lot easier.

Why do you think you should be a mod?
I, BedrockPvP should be a Mod because I can help the community by staying active, helping others in general, start fantastic drop parties (if necessary), and this isn't really a good thing, but people have been doing good so far: Banning people who advertise, grief, and spam constantly. If a player is spamming on the chat bar saying "look>> buy the...." multiple times. I wouldn't just ban on purpose to show off for superiority, only for reasons that have to be done. There are also younger kids who wouldn't want to be seeing people cursing or arguing on the chat bar(saying the "F" word and etc), so that would be a one-way ticket to a ban. I also want to answer questions on the server. People who are new to skyblock might want to know about what they can do as a regular person this sever. They also might need to know some of the commands to get them started. This is how I can help others out. If the staff need to plan ideas out like incoming events, I would certainly be happy to help. I don't want the people of this sever to rule(only Noob and Cypriot can, of course)because it can ruin their reputation and server itself.

Qualities
Committed:
I truly love this server with all my might and will be online everyday. I strive to grow this server as best as I can (as well as other Mods).

Trusted:
I am trusted because I never take anyone's items or grief on people's islands for my needs. Having a lot people trusting me should show a sign of being trusted.

Fairness:
I never criticize people of their rank or who they are in general because everyone is equal. As they say "Treat others they way you want to be treated." Also if an incident happens, then I won't choose a person because of their rank compared to a regular person on skyblock.

Kindness:
I am very kind to other players of this server. For example, many new-members of Skyblock.net would say "Can anyone help me with my new island," and I know that would be my time to shine(cringe). I know that a MOD's job is not helping a person build their island, but maybe to help with the commands.

Honesty:
I am always honest to myself and other players. If actually did something wrong to hurt someone or something,(never have) I would report myself to a Mod and take the blame. It's a good thing that there is /Ma J.

Mature:
I am not immature or funny at serious moments. One time, I had experienced two people arguing on the chat bar. I have also experienced this when other players were typing words(really abusive like) on the chat bar that no person would want to hear.

Enthusiasm:
With being committed to the server, I also am enthusiastic about building and planning new ideas. I can plan out(with others as well) when the next big drop party is, or when we should update the server itself by building new things.

Active:
I am not only active in-game, but also on the forums(and will continue to). I want to take pride in writing important works(like this Mod application) as well as playing on Skyblock, thus being active. If anyone would like to contact me, feel free.

Grammar:
When I type on the chatbar, I always make sure that what i'm saying is understandable. I also type really fast which helps me in a lot of situations, such as answering a question. This would go for a fast-typer trait.

Social:
When I do get in conversations, I chat a lot. When I chat a lot, I ask questions which helps me when I get feed back. If anyone asks- for example,"Where can I get food?" I would help this person by saying "It's /warp animal."

Environment:
As a moderator it is my job (others as well) to keep the environment safe. If I were in a bad mood, which is probably never going to happen, than I still, would try to keep players' surroundings safe.

Loyal:
If I say I will do something for a player, I will do it eventually, so basically I will finish what I began. Since many people are loyal to me, I will stay the same for them.

Observant:
I always make sure I watch my surroundings, as well as watching messages from the chat. I'm always ready if a player sends me a message about grief, theft, or etc.

Don't Hold Grudges:
If I've experienced altercations with other players because they stole my items, I wouldn't just ban them as soon as they are online. Since the past is the past I wouldn't let my hate on that player. I'd also would probably forget about it anyways.

Understanding:
If a problem gets out of hand, I listen to both sides of the story. As said in being fair, I do not choose by rank but by story and if it makes sense.

How long can you be active on the server every day?
Here is my schedule on average because I have to go to lots of places and events that affect my time to play.

Sunday- 2:00-4:00

Monday- 3:30-5:30

Tuesday- about 3:30-5:30

Wednesday- 2:00-5:00 Collaboration Day

Thursday- 3:30-5:30

Friday- 3:00-6:00

Saturday- 1:00-4:00 or 5:00-8:00

(I also like to alternate in between game play and forums)

*So it seems that I average about 3 hours of Minecraft
game play*

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I've actually been playing Skyblock for 3 years; I also accidentally forgot my other account for the forums. Playing this server it made me love even more, so I kept playing.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Yes, I have been banned because I had advertised a server. Now, I won't do that because my mistakes have been learned. I also got banned from *server* because I let my cousin take over who for one, is very good at hacking so I think you would know what happened from there.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, I have had past experience as a Moderator on my friend's server. He let me be one because I had passed a test and he said I was qualified as being a Mod. I hope I get to show my results if I am a Mod on this server. The test was more of a troll type than professional. One of my other friends let me be a Mod on his server because I am "a pretty good builder," in his words.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
I think I do meet the requirements for being a staff member. After all the work I put in to this application and how long I've been used to getting to the forums itself, as well as game play, I may meet the requirements. I'll also make sure to try and post more.

Your application is really good in my opinion. All you need to do is add your traits or anything more under the 'Why do you think you should be Mod' section. (Also get used to the forums more)

Great application, but instead of saying "I am different languages", say "I speak these languages" or "I speak multiple languages". Just a thought/suggestion. ^-^. Other than that, 100% support duuuude. xD Peace!

Recently I've been thinking a lot about the different types of power. We're taught that it comes in four different "flavors": Position (the job you have gives authority), Expert (knowledge impresses folks), Referent (you know important people) and Charisma (how you act and lead).

Out of all of these the only one you can transfer between people is "Position". You can give someone a job title.

Now let's review your job application.

Nice to meet you, sir. Your name makes me nostalgic for some of my older RPG games.

+1 immediately for knowing multiple languages. Excellent job; you are a better person than I am, sir. I notice you list Hindi first, so I'm going to assume English is your second language.

You just advertised on your own application, sir. I checked and that server doesn't appear to be online but I highly suggest removing this. Replace with something like "Yes, I have been banned for advertising."

This is moving faster than a cheetah in the Hadron collider. Not a bad thing! Rather refreshing, actually. This is the part of the applications I enjoy reading the most, let's settle in and take some time.

You may need to rewrite this slightly, sir. Some issues:

• Help the community by staying active? Can you explain this a bit?
• Helping others with building their stay? Did you mean "island"? Moderators do not build islands for players (do they?)
• Mods don't do fantastic drop parties. They don't even start terrible drop parties. There are no parties. They are party-less.
• I'm not entirely sure "talking smack" is a ban offense. Half the server would be permanently removed.

I do like how you formatted your response with "I, CaptainStorm33". This kind of seemed like a formal statement or an oath of some kind. Rather nice.

I'm having difficulty trying to understand what your topic is. Are you talking about ban abuse? Cursing in chat? You seem to be all over the place, Mr. Blood. Can you pick an idea and stick with it for a little while? The ideal format is something like "topic sentence: supporting statement: example statement".

For example:
"I would not ban people simply to show that I can (topic). This is never a good idea because it makes people upset for no good reason (supporting statement). If a Moderator does this enough people begin to lose trust in all of the staff (supporting statement). This can lead to a demotion or something even worse (example)."

YES. This part is nearly perfect. You clearly state what you want to do (answer questions), then give supporting statements and cap with examples. Stick with the format you are using here.

Bernard Madoff is a perfect example of why having a lot of people trusting you is not a good reference.

Rather than listing how many people used the /trust command on you why not mention you have never been reporting for scamming, cheating or bad behavior? This is something the person that may hire you (CypriotMerks) can easily check by searching the forums.

This whole "trust" qualification is sketchy, at best. Trust is one of those things that the more you talk about it the less everyone believes you. Can you replace this with something like "Reliable", or maybe "Meticulous"?

I feel like a man trying to play Scrabble in a hurricane. What does "Fairness" have to do with "extremely poor taste in houses"? I think you might be trying to explain the idea of being nonjudgmental towards others, or maybe treating everyone impartially.

This is a little unclear, can you spend a couple more lines explaining what you mean or giving examples sir?

First: You are a good person for building every new player's island for them.
Second: Building islands is not something Moderators do.

Can you replace your "Kindness" example with something that applies to the job you are asking to have? As an example perhaps being kind would mean you could sympathize when people are griefed, which drives you to discover who did it and stop the perpetrator. Or maybe being kind means you regret having to kick someone for being upset so you will go out of your way to explain to them why they should behave more appropriately.

Or perhaps your kindness will lead you to a life of being a vigilante, forever in the shadows seeking to right the wrongs on the server.

Can you think of another way to give an example of how honesty is good for a Moderator? There are probably a couple things you could talk about here to give us all an idea of the person you are, sir.

I am more Lost than J.J. Abrams. Can you explain a bit more on this section, please? I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to explain here sir.

Read this thread, sir. Particulary the section under "What not to judge upon". Giving out items (drop parties) and building structures are not things that Moderators do. You seem to be extremely focused on these two details but this is like applying to be a police officer by saying you really like donuts.

Moderators keep chat clean, stop harrassment/bullying, punish rulebreaking and answer questions. They do not give out items or build islands. You seem to be confused about what the job you're applying for actually does, Mr. Blood. Revise your application a bit.

Please list when you will be available. It is very nice you'll be on for 1-3 hours but... WHEN? Are you volunteering for the midnight to 1am shift? It is very difficult to "hire" you without knowing when you will be on the server, sir.

Where is this test?? I would be incredibly interested to see it, does your friend have an example or picture of it? I am honestly curious; your friend may have some new insight into what makes a good staff member that no-one else has thought of. Can you ask him to post the test somewhere...?
