I live on the US Mexico border, and let me tell you.... Mexican people are smart. Some of my friends have told me how their grandparents got here. So I don't think this wall will keep people from coming to enjoy the freedoms we too have. I mean the US wasn't made by the natives or anything...
Just make Mexico part of America. Then they wouldn't have to climb walls, travel deadly deserts, & it would cut down on human trafficking. As it is we live just like the animals we hold ourselves above with our borders, countries, states, cities, towns, etc. like dogs peeing on a fence to mark our spots. Civilized peoples should be able to roam the earth without lines, or borders. Without the intention of causing harm, or the expectation of having harm done to them. I think we all have it wrong, & I blame religion for the most part.
The reason we have borders on our countries is because of cultural difference. There are things that other people believe that we don't believe. I don't expect someone in Norway to think that our border issue to be something that the whole world should change so that way we can walk the earth like nomads. The States were made in a certain way so that we would be allowed to be humans, with out having the French run our country per say...

If they are going to build a wall it should be made of David Copperfield glass. That way as dumb as the idea is it would at least be funny to watch people run into it. They could set up cameras and make it the next mind numbing reality show.
