I wonder how much Bull-crap has been written into a mod application. I'm not saying its bad, but some people are trying too hard making it a bit unrealistic. Popularity is an issue with those mod app
It's like a résumé. It's supposed to be bullcrap. You want it for the job benefits and not to actually do anything. Like no one actually wants to serve burgers at McDonald's, just like no one actually wants to help people as a mod.
Meh, I only really wanted to help people, but a lot of applicants and mods, not naming any names here, don't truly care about other peoples problems.
But those are usually the odd one out. Most of us are like, squidward, or maybe Mr. Krabs (in it for the money and benefits)
I genuinely love helping people, what brings me the most joy is other people's joy, preferably someone I care for but a stranger works too
Yes, and everyone genuinely wanted to help at one point, but now, at least half of the current, former, and applying mods probably don't care about helping as much as they should.
in all theory helping isn't even a part of the moderator role, they can refuse to talk to you as long as they do theirs when it comes to banning/kicking rulebreakers. Some mods don't help at all to focus on what they're supposed to do
Well most mods are helpful and always help me when I need it, but yes I agree, there are some mods that I know who completely ignore me when they are not afk and just talking to their friends in public chat.
