I believe moderating activity on the server appears as a public demonstration of a certain player, a cry of the soul in order to show other people individual's possibilites and possibly power in a virtual form on certain server in vortex type game called Minecraft. For someone moderating is practice, for others it is an unvaluable experience in the sphere of sociology and as unreal social worker. When someone finds moderating a possibility to set their own dictature and absolute monarchy on the server for certain period of time, create an illusion of transcendence, others see it as an opportunity to express themselves more, show the Internet and players the true personality or create a good opinion in society about themselves.
Moderating is not only about helping, it also develops the individual's social abilites at the level of talking with strangers in the computer game community. Majority of new staff members at first appear as highly unconfident and either shy or extremely strict playera, but as soon as they understand the mechanisms and principle of social interaction between other people, it helps them a lot in life. But as in life, there is always the dark side of the deal: some staff members develop chronical social anxiety, what quickly results in the appearance of depression, constant stresses. That is the reason why everyone should know their limits in order not to lead to the tragic consequences. And if you made it this far, you may edit this shiet and use it as a material for your own application.

I agree with this so much, also, I've recently got a part time job, and I'm shocked how much my social skills have improved since I was a moderator on Mineverse, it really did help.

Maybe (i know this sounds crazy) but some "people" are normal and just play the game for the fun of it

People who really enjoy playing certain game don't bring it to the level of moderation. Moderation is not fun.
