For anyone who didn't know...
I had locked my old moderator application as I had requested a perm ban to focus on school and to get better grades. I'm currently still working on my grades slowly, but have made progress. I want to restart everything and try again, so here it goes...

Hello, I'm xStarx. You may call me Star or Sophia.
I joined SkyBlock last year around October/September, if my memory serves me right. I started playing on SkyBlock.Net, then was wisked away by Pizza to SkyBlock.Org. Even though the community was small back then, I had an amazing group of people that helped me thought my time there.

I have a passion for art and attend art class each week, creating different pieces. As for sport, I'm not quite the athletic type, more of a couch potato than a runner, but I do go to a ranch to do horse riding each week, which I have been doing for almost 3 years.

Auckland, New Zealand (GMT+13)

New Zealand, with our pavlova and fush and chups

▹ What languages do you speak? ◃

English ▹ I am able to speak and type English fluently and confidently.

French ▹ Currently trying to learn French. I am able to say and type a few simple phrases, but I am not as confident with this language.

Japanese ▹ As with French, I am still trying to learn this new language. I am only able to say simple and quick phrases, but may have trouble spelling the words.

Maori ▹ Growing up in New Zealand, learning Maori was compulsory. I can speak and type quite a bit of this, but I'm not fluent.

Mandarin ▹ I am slightly fluent speaking and typing Mandarin, as I was growing up, I had interest in this language and took classes each week. I am fairly confident but may need assistance when speaking/typing this language.

Cantonese ▹ I am able to speak Cantonese but not type, as I'm unsure of how the vocabulary works. I am not fluent at all with this language and may also need assistance with this language.

▹ Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) ◃
I have requested a perm-ban for specific reasons.

▹ Why do you think you should be a mod? ◃
I think that I am suitable for this job because I show qualities that can help players on the server and others. I am ready to be relied on to ban players, warn players, kick players, etc.

I am able to offer help and guidance to other players when needed and I am willing to help them no matter what. I'm active and online on my timezone, which is a positive, as I only see a few moderators come online and assist the players.

Being a moderator, it will help me extend my communication and leadership skills, which will make me a better moderator, therefore, I will be able to help in a way where I am confident and know what I am doing.

Overall, I think I should be a moderator because I have the skills and quality for it and that I'm able to handle all the caps, spammers, advertisers, etc.

▹ What qualifications do you have? ◃
Online ▹ I am able to be online from 1-4 hours per day, depending. I am mostly active and playing, but at times I may need to go brb/afk. This also depends on timezones, as I may be asleep, in school our out for others.

Experience ▹ I have been playing SkyBlock.Org for about 8 months or so, I know how auctions work, how trust works, etc. I do also moderate another server at times, so I do know most of the commands. I am also quite familiar with most of the players that are around my timezone.

Leader ▹ As a moderator, I will be able to lead others to do the correct things and to keep the server following the rules. To achieve this, I will warn players for inappropriate language, caps and more.

Caring ▹ When helping players, I understand I need to be caring and understand what the problem may be and how I can sort it out. I will also welcome new players and help others to enjoy the server.

Respectful ▹ I will respect other players when helping or having a conversation with them and will respect their options or statements on a particular topic, right or belief.

Friendly ▹ Being friendly towards players and helping them will give me an opportunity to help others. I'll help whoever is in need and will do my best.

Willing ▹ Even though some conflicts between players may be out of hand, I am willing to take my time to sort problems out and have everyone playing on the server in peace.

Patient ▹ When players are needed to respond back to a thread, post or myself, timezone may cause conflicts. I'll be patient and waiting for a response and will reply asap when I am able to.

Honest ▹ I will be completely honest to players and other staff members when being questioned or trying to sort a conflict out.

Organised ▹ I am fairly organized, timetable wise and server wise. I will be able to set times for when I am able to be online and when I am not, I will always try to fit in about around an hour to come onto the server each day.

Helpful ▹ Although I'm not 100% used to the commands such as /kick, /ban, /mute, etc, I'll try help the players as much as I can. Such as doing little things as responding to a question, to explaining all the rules.

Involved ▹ I tend to talk quite a bit on the chat and through TeamSpeak. At times, I may start a conversation with a few players and see if anyone needs anything or any help. I do try and talk to some new people or greenies that may get ignored at times.

Confident ▹ Having the position as a moderator, I will be confident in the actions I make and what I do. If I am unsure about something, I may ask another staff member about it.

Safe ▹ In chat, I do not say anything inappropriate, sexual or send inappropriate links (Such as screamers and inappropriate websites.)

Reliable ▹ I am able to do all my jobs and what I am required to do as a moderator.


▹ How long can you be active on the server everyday? ◃
My timetable varies each week, I may suddenly have things planned or a short holiday. The following timetable is what I normally follow;

Monday ▹ 1-4 hours online. (Around 3pm to 9pm)

Tuesday ▹ 1-4 hours online. (Around 3pm to 9pm)

Wednesday ▹ 1-4 hours online. (Around 3pm to 9pm)

Thursday ▹ 1-2 hours online, as I have horse riding, from 3pm to 6/7pm.

Friday ▹ 1-2 hours online, as I have art from 5:15pm to 6:45pm.

Saturday ▹ 1-6 hours online. I have art class in the morning at 9am to 11am, but I may return back at 1/2pm.

Sunday ▹ 1-6 hours online. From as early as 6am to as late as 11pm.


▹ How long have you been playing skyblock.org? ◃
For about a year ^-^

▹ Do you have any past experience as a moderator? ◃
I have been moderating another SkyBlock server for around 2 or 3 months now. I have only ever kicked, banned and muted a few players, but do know the commands. Some I am not sure of, which I will need assistance with.

You've definitely grown a lot more familiar with this community since the first time we met. I'm thrilled to see that you're taking this to the next level. I know you're a really nice and honest girl, and I know that if you put your mind and heart to something you really strive for, such as good grades and Skyblock moderator, you can reach your goals.
