So recently on the forums there have been a couple request threads to change their skygod prefix. So, it may be more helpful to make a command called /prefix that would allow SkyGods to change their prefix. So people don't go insane changing the prefix a lot there could be a time limit [decided by staff or by a vote] which limited the times they can do it over a certain period of time. Also there might be a censor similar to the one in chat that would block out certain swears or rude comments that the prefix might be changed to.

The thing about this, is Skygods could change their prefix to anything. I don't think it would be a good idea to give Skygods access to /pex either.

Maybe just give pex to SMods.

 

Right now I believe only cyp has the permissions to change prefixes. Like Krissy_ said it would be helpful for mods to have that permission and may be even better so other people don't abuse the possible command.

Or Cyp could make another thread where people could request their prefix change, would be a lot easier for people to request. But that's his choice.

 

Super Moderators could get the permission permissions.manage.users.prefix.<user> but it does mean they could change anyone's prefix, so I think that abuse of such an important command for the use of jokes would result in severe penalties. Maybe demotion to Full Mod or something.

If super mods were to have the command, That would be a possibility. However I would think there would be some type of rule that would state, That the player must request a prefix change in order to have a super mod change it.

How'd we add it so the skygods can only type "Skygod" in their prefix, I get what you're getting at, but just giving them a command allowing them to change the prefix color would be different, it's more complex then you think.

Smods are more trusted, so personally, giving them a command in this case /pex to change prefix's would be better, the only issue is that all the smods would need/have to learn how to use the command properly. There are some issue that they might run into.

I fully understand that it would be difficult to do, however I can probably research more on the topic and find a plugin or something similar. What I am saying is that whoever is able to change the command would only be able to change the prefix to "Donor" or "SkyGod". As for who has the command, well, we could either give it to a player or to SMods. That is what I'm debating over now. I might add a poll or something to keep track of the data I'm getting.

They could turn it to anything (which was an old perk) rather then skygod in whatever color so i agree full mods and smods should get it.

 

Or, you know, since they're a Skygod, the only prefix they should be able to have is 'Skygod' o.o

It should just be something like /sgp (skygod prefix) followed by the name of a basic color, like red/blue/green/orange/yellow/etc., with a cooldown of 1 minute.

The brackets around the prefix would stay light gray ( &7 ), to keep it simple.
