I'm glad I didn't have to go through T-mod stage honestly. Too much work.

Woo boy! You almost broke my passive aggressive meter! I paid good money for this thing, so try toning it down a notch, if you could, please. ;)

It doesn't really matter how many mods Cyp can hire, it matters how many of them are able to actually moderate.
    Moderating can consist of...
    -Stopping Spam
    -Answering Questions
-Trying to help with grief's [since there's no logblock]

All SkyBlockers should remember that some mods quit because they don't want to moderate anymore or its getting too tough. The Mods that stay there because they want to be there. They don't have to help you but they chose too.
Most things here are a opinion meaning its going to be bias, because its a opinion. Everyone's at different positions or ranks and we try to say what our side experiences.
The thread itself [made by Thedarkager ]is a example of only some mods. So its not covering the Whole life of every mod. So the title is false.

For me, this post isn't fully true. I see many mods who are active a lot. Now this doesn't mean there isn't mods who just sit there and don't help or anything, but most are active. For me, if I was mod I would be on like normal. Why would you just stop playing due to a title. I can understand being under AFK, cause a mod gets a ton of messages usually and it can be annoying or stressful. So I feel that it all comes down to what Cyp wants to do. If he wants mods he usually makes a good choice, same if Noobcrew does it. That's all I have to say. Not like they would choose just anyone to be a mod.

    Alright.

I'm only going to say this.

I'm sure you all hear of the quote, "It looks easy, but in reality, it isn't."

That really is what it is here. Looks like a easy job, not really.

If it's too much to handle and a mod declines in their quality because of it, they should resign or be demoted.

The problem is that so many moderators don't even think about resigning because of the work put in to get the tag. They want to keep it, just in case their enthusiasm comes back. There needs to be a constant level of quality. If a mod isn't up to scratch, they should be removed and a new one tried and tested.

That was not what I was aiming for. I was aiming for, you all, to understand, that we have more jobs. If one got demoted, another got promoted, wouldn't the outcome be similar? You say this as most of the staff team members are only looking for the tag.

I know you have more jobs.

Mods need to have stricter standards, however.

I'm not saying you can't have a life.

Also, if another one got promoted, perhaps they'd be better for the rank? It's all about trial and testing to find the perfect set of moderators.

    No one is perfect.

They might, they might not. Everyone comes and goes. Eventually, I'll leave this wonderful town too.

But, for stricter standards, as in?

I think if you keep shoving tons of people into the same position, none of them will be able to handle it.
You need to change the way the position feels to be in it so that people *can* handle it, not just get new people.

    Activity, composure.

There needs to be a minimum set for amount of time online a week.

    Not for months on end.

Overall activity is what I mean.

Some mods barely show their faces for 30 minutes every few days.

    That, I do agree.

    But as said before,

Cyp will promote when he feels like he needs more, he will demote when he feels like a moderator isn't doing their job.
