Certainly it's a good lesson, but it's not the one she needs. Instead of learning to move on from conflicts, she should learn what causes them, and utilize that knowledge to make sure nothing of the like happens again That's the lesson she needs, in my opinion.
I Keep comin back, im in the hospital atm and dun wanna deal with this lol, i didn5 mean to make anyone think discussion had to be over
Without reading through all the 9 pages of stuff (yes I will get through it eventually, and probably make more comments specifically), the punishment that a player recieves is determined by several factors, just as it is in real life. The factors are, mainly: 1) The nature of the crime Clearly murder is a more serious crime than stealing a lollipop. On skyblock, the same concept hold true. Someone who simply spams "WTB wood" twice in a row is likely to get a kick warning, whereas someone who advertises is likely to get a perm ban. 2) The movtivation of the crime This is important, because in the case of murder, it is important to determine the motivation. Was it in self defence? Or was it because the offender stood to benefit from a $5m insurance policy. On skyblock, the same concept holds true. Someone who killed another player who was say, griefing them, is likely to get a lesser sentence than someone who is purposely creating death warps/traps to obtain player items/loot. 3) The offender's attitude Judges take this into consideration when sentencing offenders. Did they show remorse at all? Or did they show any indication that they regret their actions? This is important because an offender who still thinks that their crime was not a crime, or that they were doing the right thing is more likely to re-offend. Often harsher sentences are handed out for offenders with poor attitudes, or impenitent behaviour. 4) The offender's past criminal history The law takes this into consideration when dealing with repeat offenders, or recalcitrant criminals. Is this their first offence for stealing? Or are they a career thief whose docket is as long as their arm. Once again, harsher sentences are handed out for offenders who repeatedly offend for the same thing, because clearly, they haven't learnt from their mistake the first time, so applying the same punishment won't work. This is the reason why we escalate chat offences from kicks to temp mutes to temp bans to perm mutes etc etc. Hope this answers the OP's question.
Haven't read it all.. and I think I know what this is all about but why don't you guys just move on and have some tea and crumpets. If you two don't want to be friends, that is your choice but at least be civil with each other and move on. If you want to continue this discussion, continue it on forum inbox, the whole server don't need to see this.
