I only did so FindMe would stop spamming me to do so, anyway, I'm pretty sure everyone knows my opinion on Stel, I've said it a few times on different forums. I don't think me commenting on that thread is any different since I say it like a broken record xD

 

It's not about the money. And if it was, it's not anymore. Stel is not exempt from bans and can't hide behind Cyp to avoid them. She's always told mods that she'd get them demoted if they try to ban her because of the power that she has. That "power" is now inconsequential. Slep, I completely understand your point of view and I actually agree that the report suggests that the mods were worked up over practically nothing.

But Stel wasn't banned for nothing, and that's the truth.

My number one claim here was the staff grudge, but I simultaneously also just wanted to get to the bottom of things because everyone gives different stories if you ask them individually.

 

I understand. Well, glad you took care of your needs in a mature manner instead of trying to accuse/blame anyone like a lot of people would do. Not going to name names, but some people find satisfaction only by seeing the downfall of their foes..

 

I don't hate Stel. In fact I consider her a friend when she isn't insulting players for the "LOLZ". I just think she's been going too far lately. Younger people are a lot more affected by what people say about or what people think about them. I know it was probably wrong to rip into her like that but she hasn't been the kindest person to be around lately. She goes around looking for trouble and seeking out victims to spam rudes things to. Her ban isn't just about staff disrespect, it's player disrespect as well. She insults the innocent people of the server and makes the server less enjoyable for the people who enjoy coming on just to talk to people. Honestly, who wants to come on a child filled server and see "Hang your self." Or "Get some rope and take your mom for a walk." I'm not trying to disrespect Stel because she is a nice person when she's not on the server and telling people to hang them selves but I think this ban was appropriate considering all the grief she put many players through.
Also you can't really call someone petty for taking an insult like "Hang your self." seriously and doing it because you don't know how their life is like. You don't know how deeply words can affect some people. At one point in life the opinion of others was so important to me that I changed how I acted. But now I don't care because I am who I am but some people don't know that yet and they think their lives revolve around the ability to please someone.
I like Stel as a person but as a net player she isn't all that great.

The "player disrespect" point with regards to "go walk your mom" is a pointless argument and at this point seems like just another point you're throwing in for good measure when it actually means nothing. I can see why the "go hang yourself" would be considered rude, but come on, we're on the internet: where memes like this exist and are actually commonplace:


Y'all know the caption to this already, that's how common it is. It's a terrible comeback, yes, but I'd like to see the context it was used in, because it's usually used sarcastically to win an argument, not seriously.

Also, like I've said before, if you would actually kill yourself after someone on the internet told you, you should see a doctor.

I agree on the principle off staff disrespect, it doesn't matter how many times I try and nullify it, people still accept it as a viable excuse for banning or muting. But yeah. I've also tried to get the staff team out of petty banning, but some just don't care for what I have to say and resort to "Until you're a global admin blah blah"

As for the red, that happens and it's surprisingly common, as standard for it is in games and the internet if you browse 4chan or Reddit, it's not a common phrase used on Minecraft. Just remember that if you tell someone to kill themselves, you're connected to the murder by law, it has a term, I think it's third degree murder or something the likes. But the point is moot, it still shouldn't be said, I simply cannot tell young teenagers to get a thick skin and welcome to the internet when most only play Minecraft.

Seeing as I've played DotA, HoN, LoL and countless other competitive team games, I can dare say I hear or see the phrase 'kill yourself' more than I see the word 'hello'

 

I understand your point about telling people to kill themselves. Of course it shouldn't be said. I think I'm more frustrated with the act that people *do* actually kill themselves over it, although one instance shouldn't cause that. Of course, I don't know how long this has been going on, but like I said before, in an argument, that point is basically null because the other person is fighting back.

Also, my comment about the doctor was not a joke. Seriously, that's an issue that should be confronted.

Let me just get this straight, its okay for you to be bias against me, just because FindMe decided to piss me off, you're not seeing the story from my point of view, infact I've very much been left out of this. Just pointing out that I get banned for "disrespect" when you all know very well, that I'm reacting to those who are provoking me. I must also point out that FindMe, has threatened myself and many users, he constantly boasts about the folders on his desktop that include mine, and many other peoples dox's. http://i.imgur.com/CaNDaHx.jpg what he does, is he screenshots EVERYTHING, regardless it good or bad, especially bad, then if you annoy him, he will blackmail you to do what ever the hell he wants you to do, if you don't... well then he will provoke you until you burst, also spreading the unlegitmate screenshots, which is what has happened to myself. He takes screenshots and mixes them up, without even providing the full story, As for the person that I told to hang themselves, they were talking s*** about one of my friends, saying to them "go kill yourself" Yes, I know he's put the "stels all out to get me" concept, but honestly, its far from true, you and I both know that thing from last night, wasn't mine, yet you make alt accounts to provoke me, if you mess with me, I'll come and mess with you. I'm not the person that lets people blackmail me, infact I dont give a s*** what others think, an example is all of my negative ratings. Idk how it is for sure with what she did, but she really seems like she didn't do it. This can only be solved in the future, don't know what else to say.

Also Stel told me to say this, she said that since Findme did the same stuff to her, he should be banned as well. Her exact words were. "Say, I know I'm not innocent, but I also know that If I get banned, so should he, as he did the same stuff to me"

 

I have a story to tell.

I once had a friend banned for saying "Skyblock.net is awesome!" He purposely left out the # # so that any moderator would know he wasn't advertising, 'twas but a joke. However, he was banned anyway. In his appeal he even pointed this out, but the banning moderator claimed that since he would not admit to his actions, he would not be unbanned. He was only unbanned upon the ban list clearing.


I do believe that proper discussion should be had regarding any inquiries and besides, this IS the discussion section. If you don't want to be "dragged into it," then scroll past. However, I for one want to confirm that this is a legitimate ban and not just one thrown out rashly to satisfy the popular opinion.

 

I just want to clarify that I'm not entirely against Stel being banned. I'm just against the staff banning her because they have a grudge on her because like Stel said herself, FindMe seems to have done everything Stel has.
