Greetings,

I'm Survivors05, and recently while playing skyblock.org, I've noticed that we don't have a lot of mods. I was on today and people kept saying, "Mod help!". I told them about how no mods are on and helped, but it's kind of un normal or something. On .net, I see mods on all the time! (Lemonade) I know moderators have jobs and or is busy in real life, but maybe have some more moderators to help out on the server!

This is what I think, however, I am probably wrong about: Zambiana, and Kerahna.

 

Zambiana isn't active.
I agree with the rest, but if they're busy, why not have more mods to help while they're busy!

I see Gxshiee sometimes. She is like 20/80. Yeah maybe there should be more mods. The only Mod who i see all the time is Krissy, but maybe i am just in a different timezone.

 

That's true, but the only "active" mods in that list - Sakura Bot You and Larry. There are a lot of times when people ask for a moderator but none are on. I'll start taking screens

I see Gxshiee more than Larry, PC, Roblox - I think it's probably a timezone thing? Just felt someone should stick up for her, I consider her active x

I'm gonna just steal RocketWarrior's idea and colour code the mods but by how frequently I see them, not by actual activity, for example I know Larry is extremely active but I usually see her logging in just as I've said goodbyes, if I stayed on later than usual - so basically, she comes on while I'm asleep usually. (I play around 8am to 5pm UTC+2 (Europe)) Also I have no comment regarding net; I've never even logged into net lol.

Orange = Busy
Green = I see everyday (very active)
Blue = I see fairly often (mostly active)
Red = I rarely/never see (inactive)

Noobcrew - (lol jokes but really, I've truly never seen him in game!)

CypriotMerkz - I see him from time to time "adminning" but Cyp's not really a moderator as such.

Krissy - I see her the most, literally every day for about half of the day also incredibly active on forum.

Pc1008831 - I see PC about once a week/fortnight but I believe he is active when I am asleep

Roblox - I very rarely see him but this doesn't mean he's inactive necessarily, idk
EDIT: Saw Roblox today after I wrote this lel. Stayed up til 3am, couldn't sleep... I guess he's also on while I usually sleep. ~ changed to blue

Bot - I see Bot every 3 days or so, I consider him active. Sometimes he comes on when he can only get on via minechat to help people/answer questions/moderate chat which works fine for me. EDIT - Bot is on when I usually sleep too XD actually this surprised me as I therefore see him an awful lot when he probably should be sleeping!

Sakura - I don't see Sak every day but if I ever log on once I get home from work, she's always there lel. She is incredibly active on the forum. If there is a major issue on the server sometimes you can ask her to log in from the forum even when she's otherwise occupied irl ^^ (I assume, working)

Kerahna - Never seen them in game ... didn't even know they were an Org mod tbh :/ unless they have some different /nick perhaps

Carlmancer - I see Carl at least every other day I reckon, he tends to come on regularly but for short bursts e.g. playing for an hour, several times per day, this is fine by me though I still consider this active even if he doesn't no life on the server all day like some of us

Gxshiee - I see Gxshiee less often than some e.g. twice per week but when she is on she is on for a long time at once, also very talkative in chat / interacts with people a lot when she is there. I see her mainly in the evening when I get back from work so similar to Sakura; I think she is on mostly when I'm not there.

Blaq - Never really see Blaq on. I've only seen them two or three times on the server, in about a year.

Larry - I don't see Larry very often although she is incredibly active on the forum. If I ever do /seen on Larry it's always <24 hours and on those rare occasions I can't sleep and come on at 4am, she's always there, so I assume it's a time zone thing, I think Larry is highly active while I'm sleeping

Zambiana - I don't see Sean often anymore ... he was incredibly active pre-reset, since the reset I've seen him pop on to say hi a few times but no extended playing, he is however incredibly active on the forum still. Actually I miss him ^^ but anyway I would say that Sean counts as busy rather than inactive, active on the forum is still active in a way and I think he has other stuff going on, he's not simply been awol for a long time, he's stayed in touch with us.

Sorry for the long post but I felt the need to comment on this because I agree strongly with the original post, I'm perfectly happy with the activity of all the mods coloured blue, it's a reasonable level of activity for most human beings with real lives! But I agree that we need more mods on in the timezones I play (Aus evening, Europe morning, USA middle of the night), either a whole lot of "blue" level activity mods working together for greater mod coverage in all timezones, or perhaps a couple more "no lifers" who are on basically every day, like Krissy and Sakura (meant in the nicest possible way!) (I miss Grace! She covered a large part of the morning that is now moderated by no one if Krissy's not there).

I do feel like a hypocrite complaining that there aren't enough mods, when I haven't reopened my own app or read/supported anyone else's for a while, but I haven't had the time lately, summer holidays = lots of travelling and weird hours at work for me. But there are a few people I know have been mods in the past who have reapplied who could certainly help the server out at this time *cough* Maxi *cough* and promoting a few new T mods surely would not hurt? There are enough active full mods to help/guide new people

Well I'm off to visit my parents for a while (in another country) so I'll be rather inactive in the next few weeks (I'm only taking my tablet, no keyboard, can't get in game) but I'll miss Skyblock and I hope there will be some new mods for me to welcome when I get back! xxx

 

Im supporting survivors, the times when i play there are no mods on. This is between 4 pm - 9pm cest. I hardly see mods on then, somethimes there is one. Or when u need one he s afk. I think their should be more active mods.

Cyp will promote new moderators when he's ready. Most of the moderators have excuses for being inactive.

Anyways, I don't really know if I'll support or not. I guess I'm 50/50.

 

The reason why you don't see Larry and I, is because we're in the EST timezone. You see me on MineChat often, because when I do get on MineChat sometimes, it's pass midnight. #AllNighters
