Introduction
Hello for whom is reading my application. I am known as "Bert". I am currently 13 years old and I joined Org back in 2013. I am an Arab person, though my English is good and it will be improving more! Here's the link for my Introduction if you want to know more about me.

In game name:
Bert_or_is_it but I am using "thelegendarybert" since it is highroller so I can use more commands to help people. (Eg: /fly, /enchant) Since Bert_or_is_it is a donor10 and has fewer commands. Also, my nick is BertBerries/BertBerrie/Bertie in the game. If you want to know my previous names click here.

My timezone is UTC +2:00. (IST Israel Standard time)

What country do you live in?
I live in Israel/Palestine.

What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Arabic. And I'm currently learning Hebrew.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes, I do.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
I capture evidence by taking screenshots and also by recording.

Why do you think you should become a mod?
I believe I have the potential of being a moderator for one reason. A Simple reason. And that reason is a sentence. "Making the server a better place for people to play in". Moderator's Job is to moderate the server. Punish the rule breakers. And being a moderator is hard, though not easy. It's not because of the Nice Prefix "[Mod]" or because of gaining popularity or because of gaining permissions that you didn't have before getting a moderator. The reason is very simple. Moderators should have the right qualities in order to moderate. I, my and myself believes that I have the right qualities to become a moderator. A unique quality. Different than any other moderator's qualities.

Each player here is unique by his/her own way. I am very very impressed with the server and the forums. Here, the players are nice and very unique. We talk to each other about a topic. A fun one maybe or a problem and we try to find a solution. Its chat is peaceful, calm and fun sometimes. And we treat everyone here fairly and equally. But guess what made my application open since June 14, 2015. It was a simple reason. It was "Hope", it was "Being optimist", it was "Being Positive" and it was all the supports and love I've gotten from the players in the community. You made me what I am today. Even though I'm suffering a lot in real life because of abusive, cruel, and jealous people and problems, still, I can handle all that. Skyblock is the only way where I find happiness mostly. All these friends. Even though there are people who hate me or are jealous of me. I just take my mother's advice "ignore".

Moderators have to enforce the rules and punish any player that breaks a certain rule. Even if that player is his/her best friend, girlfriend, boyfriend or a friend. Moderators should be polite, friendly, strict, fair and all suitable qualities for them to be a great moderator. And it takes a lot of effort and hard work to become one. Some moderators that forgives people usually give a warning before they break the rule. Because it's for their own good. They don't want them to make the same mistake they did, getting banned if the moderator has a ban history. Moderators shall always (Not really) be available for players to serve them. And give them pieces of advice.

Every player should respect each other. Whether the player is a non-donor, donor, moderator, admin or the owner. We are all equal and we all should be treated equally. And I am really thankful and grateful to CypriotMerks and Noobcrew for making a unique, one of its kind server. The one shall remain forever called Org.

Qualities:

• Helpful: I always help people who need help in anyways. I answer any questions they ask and try my best not to ignore anyone since I really hate getting ignored.
• Honest: Being honest is good. I am always honest but sometimes I am not due to it might hurt people. Sometimes lies can be good and bad, you never know. It can destroy a person life and sometimes it's necessary to lie. Of course, a white lie not black.
• Unbiased, Fair and Strict: Even if I really hate a player too much, I won't ban him because I hate him. I should treat him like any other player who I am not biased toward. Same goes if I really love a player and that player if I see him breaking a rule I won't ban him. That is not fair. Every moderator should be fair to every player on the server. Also, they should be strict to a player even if they have to ban their best friend.
• Caring, Respectful and doesn't ignore anyone: I hate to ignore anyone or to /ignore them. It hurt me. I also get mad when getting ignored. Sometimes people think I am ignoring them but nope. I either am spammed by players or is very busy. So I reply to one by one if I have time and I should care for them and respect every player in the whole server.
• Active and Available: A moderator should be active in order to moderate, both in game and forums. So I am always active. And if anyone needed me I will always be there but sometimes I may not able to get on.
• Learning from my mistakes: Everyone in the world isn't perfect. We all do mistakes and most of us learn from it. I'm one of these people. I've done many mistakes and I've learned from most of my mistakes. And by that, it makes me better than the day before.
• Translator: So since I mainly know 2 languages Arabic and English and I'm currently learning a third language (Hebrew), I can be able to translate for a moderator if an Arab player came to make an appeal/report whatever whose English is very weak, I can try translating it from Arabic to English so the other moderators can understand. I helped 2 Arab people with 2 ban appeals and translated for them.
• Optimistic and Positive: I always try to be positive towards myself and other people. It can change a person like to better. Its one of the few reasons that gave me hope and patience waiting to get a moderator. In my previous applications, I was negative thinking I won't get moderator then when I made this application I told myself to be positive and of course with the help and support from you guys made me more positive and happy.
• Dedicated: I have a few aims here, getting a moderator to help the server is one of them. I will keep waiting for that day. Who knows when is that day. I dedicated myself to this server. I mean it's worth playing here. It's fun.
• Forgiver: We all do mistakes, we all hurt somebody at one point, didn't we? I would lower the punishment level depending on if a player wanted to break a rule, I will just go warn them so they would not get punished. Or if a player says a server IP in chat and it was meant to his friend who asked for it in /msg he gets a very short temp ban (5 - 30 minutes )or a warning.
• Trustworthy/Trustable: I have many people trusting me with things, and their island. I try to build some trust between them and me. I am worth to be trusted to be a moderator as I would never betray someone.
• Smart: I am smart in real life but sometimes I can be dumb, we all are at one point do mistakes, right? I'm still working on "thinking before doing something that might be stupid" just like sometimes I take jokes too far which I am also trying to work on it. I can tell a player if he is a liar or honest. Sometimes I act dumb towards the player to see his/her reaction.
• Timezone Advantage: The advantage of my timezone that I barely see a mod on for 30 minutes. So by me being a mod I can be active when there are no mods in my timezones.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
School Days:
Saturday -=> Wednesday | 2 hours to 3 hours |
Thursday -=> Friday | 2 hours to 3 hours |

Vacation Days:
Saturday -=> Friday | 2 hours to 4 hours |
But sometimes it won't go as planned due to things happening. (Eg: Broken Computer/Laptop).
Also, my mom doesn't let me play for many hours because of my eyes.

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I've been playing ORG since late 2013. So basically 3 years.

Have you ever been banned in the past?
Forums => Only requested Bans.
In game => 2 times in net for "Griefing". And 2 times in org for "framing" and "player killing". But the second ban (ORG) is a misunderstanding.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, I do. I was a moderator in 2 servers that had an average of 1 - 10 players on them.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes, I surely do!

• Firstly, delete the "I edited this" posts. It's fine to say it once, but four times is unnecessary.
• Delete the apology for making your application long, as length is often good.
• Try to stick to a color scheme. Your application looks disorganized because of the odd/seemingly unrelated color choices.
• You don't seem to show any remorse or that you have learned anything from being banned/unbanned three times.
• Be consistent. This is what I mean.

• The bolded portion is redundant.

I have no opinion regarding support/no support at the time of writing this. I just thought I'd give some advice.

Thanks, and anything else I should improve on? I will add more details and make my application better overtime. Also I've learned my lesson and I will try my best not to break the rules. At that time, I was a noob. And got myself banned. I mentioned my bans because I wanted to tell the truth. Anyways thanks for the feedback!

 

Since you made this application yesterday, youve been mini modding a bit, which I don't mind at all, but you were (somewhat) spamming the chat with "[HELPING] /msg me if you need help" while moderators are online isn't really needed. It causes a good deal of unneeded spam. Maybe just try helping people in message

I have read your Moderator Application. I believe you can improve on the following:
- Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation
- Perhaps keep the font colour a little darker as it may prove a bit hard to read at times

Other then that, a good application. I don't play org, but for what's here I will give you 85% Support!

Thanks for the feedback! Brighter? I think you meant Darker. Well, In the sticky post Noobcrew said that you should not make the format bright because it is hard to see. That why I used Black, dark gray and gray

I see you in-game sometimes, but sometimes I see you spam. When I see you more, I'll update this.

 

I know. Sometimes I spam because I want people to pay attention at what I'm posting. My post sometimes goes up quickly that some people might not pay attention to it.

 

Note: I wrote my application in two colors, Black and dark gray, you may see the dark gray as black.

 

I will give 80% support. There are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes (probably because English is not your first language.) You have been banned 3 times and you should say more why you won't break the rules again. Other then that you are active and you help people a lot so that is good.

 

I'll add more details to "Why you wont break the rules again". And its true that my English is not my first language.

 

And also you see me in game sometimes because time zones probably and you sometimes online ^_^
