Hi community. I know this is not the Mineverse forum, but, since I can't sign up to it and it is a skyblock server. I decided to expose my problem through here. :$ Problem: I don't know why i can't log on survival since June 10 . I made a thread on the forum asking if i was banned but they said i'm not. That it's a internet connection problem (altought I can connect to the server and other minigames but not on survival). Solutions (failed): I restarted my router, restarted my pc, updated java, reinstaled Minecraft, tried to conect trhough both mineverse.com and mineverse.net servers and finally restored my laptop and now i don't know what to do. Laptop Specifications: I have an i7, 12gbram, AMDradeon graphics laptop and 5 mb internet connection I dont know what is wrong. I'm very sad because I just upgraded to premium, I know its not that much but I was much into the game. :/ I atached a Video of the message it show. I hope someone can help me with this problem. The message: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException:readerIndez(9) + lenght(1) exceeds writerIndex(9): UnpooledHeapByteBuf(ridx: 9, widx: 9, cap9)
I assume it's to do with your wifi. If it's still not working, try leaving it for a while. Then go back and try connecting again.
I tried to log in with a friend account and it worked perfectly on survival but not on my account. Maybe im banned. How can I know if im banned??? :/
First of all, the error message given when banned will say that you are banned and the duration of it. This is in no way a ban, there is something wrong here. Second of all, this is what I got (if the pic when through). I have NO clue what this means, probably even in the slightest...but it's a little more organized and I can make an educated guess based off of this format. I'm guessing this has to deal with the Java decoder or some sort, problem with it being "out of bounds" or whatever. Best I can tell you Is to keep working with your wifi. I also reccomend checking your wifi's speed (both download and upload) as well as its Ping. You can do both at the website here: Speedtest.net by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test (They have an app that I use constantly and the tests are clean and easy to read) Remember: Larger numbers for ping are worse. The best ping is 1. I'd like to ask you to reply after doing so and posting your results here. Do no post and ips or anything. All I need is Download speed, upload speed, and (most importantly) ping. This are the results of the test I mentioned on the last reply to SugarCane that i can log to survival with a friend account normally on my laptop... and I am able to do a group skype call and still play normally. The problem comes when i try to log on with my IGN (xStrKillrx) I changed the name as a last resort :/ Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate it.
Hello StrKillr, Your issue may possibly be from a name change, but I do not know much about Ping tests and Wi-Fi issues. You may want to discuss this with a Mineverse Moderator. I can contact one on your behalf if the issue is still occuring
I think I found the issue. When i was playing with my account I warped to a certain area (/warp mordor) and then it loged me off ant the error message appeared. A few minutes ago I tried to return to that area with my friend's account and it loged me off the same way, and now i can't log on with the same problem. Maybe it is a corrupt chunk or something. Any ideas?
Perhaps the chunks are corrupt, it would make sense if it is in a particular region. Other then that, I couldn't give any further information or assistance, I hope I have been able to help solve your issue in some way or form SkyblockGuru
Not quite sure, you may want to ask the Owners and Admins on Mineverse about that chunk, as they are the ones who will most likely know how to solve that issue
Okay, so this I can work with a bit more. Download/Upload speed aren't to brag, but it's not your problem. With your later information that you have posted (as well as the code that I attached), I conclude that there has to be a problem with your Java rendering said chunk. It makes more sense now when is said "IndexOutOfBoundsException", because that means there's something definitely wrong with the Java plugin. It may have been literally "Out of bounds" in a sense of being rendered, as it is not close to the spawn if I am correct. Maybe too much of a teleport? Anyway, I recommend that you update the Minecraft launcher, if you haven't already. I haven't so it still gives me the option, saying that it "doesn't require Java and may make your game run faster" though I haven't bothered with it. If you have, then try to restore the older version launcher with that option to update. If neither works, I would have to look even more into the matter. Quote me again to get back! Just to add some knowledge to your head, Ping is like an echolocation signal. A data packet is sent to a server to test if one is receivable. StrKillr's is actually not that bad, as I said before the best ping is 1 Millisecond (I said 0 but that was a numpad typo, edited post recently ) Little info nugget for the day

CypriotMerks has to fix the corrupted chunk. Us Mineverse mods can't really help with this :/ Give the coords to the chunk maybe? (In hidden content)
Get on survival and get the cords he was last on. It's worth a try, give it to cyp and have him check if the chunk is corrupted.
