Afternoon All, I am extremely interested in seeing other peoples islands and getting ideas for my own. Therefore I am proposing a best island competition. I am lacking in funds, therefore the competition will last 5 days. (5 days for me to get my diamonds from donor100) . There will be multiple Categories see below. These are: Greeny/non donor Islands Donor10 to Donor100 Islands Donor 250 and above islands. There will also be Best Original Build idea ( If you have an incomplete island but you've built something extremely cool) Best Shop (Who has the coolest shop) The prize for each category will be 1 diamond + the overwhelming satisfaction of beating the competition. (If any of you rich peepz feel like adding to his fund, I'm sure the winners will not complain) Submission can be through video/image format. The more comprehensive you are the better your chances. I launch the competition tomorrow ( Friday 12th June) until Wednesday (17th June). The time from now until launch will allow people to make suggestions on the format of my competition. Winners will be chosen via a vote. I will launch a poll on the Wednesday and leave it open for 24 hours. In order for the competition to proceed, there must be at least 2 entries in each category. It is very very impressive. However, first he'd have to enter. 2nd- You never know, some one else might have something equally impressive.

You really shouldn't group the island categories based on donor rank. It's like prejudging someone's island based on their rank.
The reasoning behind the categories is , in my opinion, well founded. Generally speaking, those who have donated the most have more access to resources, in contrast those who have donated nothing would usually have far less access to resources. New players would stand little to no chance of doing well in this competition. The separate categories mean that all levels of player will have a chance at winning something. Which I hope will increase the chances of people taking part, rather than thinking " I haven't got a chance, because I'm up against skygods who've played the game for 2 years". I hope that explains my reasoning for the categories.
